The McKenzie Apartments in St. Louis are absolutely amazing! The building is beautiful, modern, and in a great location. The apartments themselves feel brand new with high-end finishes and smart-home features.
The amenities are what really make it stand out — the rooftop pool and lounge area are gorgeous, the gym is fully equipped (even with Pelotons), and the coworking spaces are perfect if you work from home. It’s also super pet-friendly, which is a huge plus.
It’s clean, safe, and really well-maintained. Definitely a 5-star place to live!

If you want to deal with building wide alarms that last an hour multiple times a month this is the place for you. Making this review at 3am because this is absoultely ridiculous and I work in 2 hours. If you value your mental health this is not the place for you. They advertise a coffee machine as well but it is constantly in need of repair.

The building is breathtaking. I was given a tour by Grace in leasing and was quite surprised by how quite and cozy the building was. The ambiance, artwork in all the amenity spaces, golf simulator, and rooftop Sky Lounge/pool certainly won me over. This is a fantastic place that I would love to call home. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to live in lovely University City with direct access to the interstate.

The apartment is very new and well-maintained. The new management team is proactive and always willing to help. Whenever I need maintenance, the team responds quickly and takes care of things efficiently. One of the managers, Eric, is especially helpful and always goes the extra mile to solve any issues. I’ve really enjoyed living here!

Great places to live. Payton is absolutely incredible. Made my move in seemsless. She genuinely cares about the residents, and introduced me to my neighbors. She plans the best resident events, and honestly it's the first place I've lived in that even does events like this.

Really nice apartment with modern design and clean facilities. The community feels safe and friendly. Eric, who helps manage the Chinese community here, has been super helpful and always quick to respond. Great location, great service, and overall a very comfortable place to live. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend McKenzie to anyone looking for a great apartment in the area.

I recently moved into McKenzie and I’ve genuinely been loving it here. The apartment itself is great — high ceilings, modern finishes, everything feels clean and well maintained. It’s spacious, comfortable, and really feels like home.
I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Eric, our property manager. He has been incredibly thoughtful and dedicated since day one. There have been a couple of times when noise issues came up late at night, and Eric was still available and willing to help right away — which truly shows how much he cares about the residents here. He’s also very easy to reach since he’s often at the front desk, and every interaction with him feels genuine and considerate. It’s clear that he consistently puts the resident experience first, and that makes a big difference. He’s honestly one of the best managers I’ve ever come across.
The building amenities are also fantastic. The gym is well-equipped, the pool is clean and relaxing, and the rooftop deck offers awesome views — perfect for winding down or hanging out with friends. Plus, the surrounding neighborhood has everything I need.
Overall, I’m really happy I chose McKenzie. The apartment is great, the community feels welcoming, and the team here — especially Eric — truly elevates the living experience. Highly recommend.
