I had never shopped in Mister Guy until the search for a coat began. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by Holly Michel, and then casually walked around. Holly was friendly, patient and always there to answer a question - yet never in the way or pushing me towards a purchase. There was no pressure and I was given time and space to shop at my own pace. I finally made a purchase about a month after first stopping in, and Holly was as friendly, patient and welcoming as she was the first several times I stopped in the store. I can tell you that I'm not a huge fan of shopping for clothes, but this was an experience on another level. Thank you to Holly for making a relaxing time out of a chore I wasn't looking forward to. Mister Guy has certainly earned a new customer, and I can't thank Holly enough for her sales approach. (Oh... and I love what I bought. BONUS!) A+

They are the best men's clothier in St. Louis. There is an excellent selection of shirts, ties, and suits. Business and casual attire for any occasion. A prime source of clothing for professionals of any age. They are on the same line as Hinton and Hinton in Oxford, MS. The staff are fantastic. Ask for Holly. The tailoring is quick and well done.

I've been shopping at Mr Guy for my husband's clothes for several years now. I'm always treated with respect and courtesy. While all the staff are helpful, Simon is my "go to" guy. He's a thoughtful listener and understands the special needs my husband now requires from his clothing. Polite and conscientious, he never "talks down" to me and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met as quickly as possible.

Got a shirt from Mr. Guy from my mother for Christmas. It was the wrong size. I took it back to Mr. guy. The moment that the clerk realized I was returning something, he disappeared for about five minutes. He then came back and spent five minutes looking at my receipt, and then just waved at an area in the corner and said "all these shirts are about the same price as the one you are returning." The shirts he referred to varied in price From $135 to $220. I asked him if he could tell me what price I was looking for and he told me to pick out a shirt and bring it over. When I did, he took about 10 minutes and finally said there is a $24 difference. The shirt was 55% off on sale. I asked him if the one my mother bought was on sale. He said yes. I asked him to please credit her the $24 difference. When I got home, my mother told me she paid $175 for the shirt and it was not on sale. My advice: shop there if you have money to burn, but never buy a gift for someone unless you're 100% sure they won't need to return it.

This store has a beautiful selection. I purchased many Christmas gifts here, with the encouragement of the sales team. I had an unfortunate experience in returning 2 items. Clothing must be returned within 14 days, no grace period around the holidays. I did receive store credit, and the policy is written on the receipt. But this is a bit unclassy for a classy store.

This is my favorite store. The sales associates are wonderful and give attention to whatever your needs are. Their approach is without pressure and you are always given the opportunity to browse without any hovering. I always appreciate their opinion and they give an honest answer to "Does this look good on me?" This store is a treasure and the people who work here are a gift!
