Helped me file claim , even talked to the claims person for me . Was so easy they took pictures, sent them in and same day set up time to bring by vehicle back . Everyone really gave five star customer service. Hi ? five to all.

Under staffed and staff under trained. I took my Acura there for a simple bumper repair estimate. The employee who performed the inspection was not qualified and had very little knowledge of body repair. I received a call three days later apologizing for the delay in sending an estimate. I never received the promised estimate. Avoid this shop...

Dave Mungenast is the best collision assistance center in the world! I hit a container truck on the highway and my girlfriend and I were stuck at a small town(no Uber, no car rental company) near to Saint Louis. They sent a truck to help us to get out of that small town and tow my car to collision center at the same time!Now my Lexus is totally repaired and it is similar with a brand new one! They repaired my car in detail and patiently, helped me make sure every parts of my car works well. Also, they keep in touch with me every week and help me to follow up the process. I want to say thank you to all members in Dave Mungenast and before I left there I swore that I would give them 5 stars review! I really appreciate their hard work and dedication. Please stay patient and give them some time to repair your car. They will live up to your expectations!

Poor customer service. After getting disconnected from their phone system and calling again I was able to set a 9am Monday appointment. I sent my daughter up there on Monday morning and she gave my name and they said they didn’t know anything about the appointment. They told her she was mistaken and to go to the car dealership. Now it is 30 minute drive each way for us. They were good a few years ago last time I brought my car in but they don’t know how to conduct business anymore.EDITED 7/18: I would like to say that a manager followed up to try to resolve the situation but sadly they did not. The automatic reply “we are sorry someone will follow up…” is a nice sentiment with no intent or follow-through.

If I could give negative stars there would be -10!Had no problem dropping car for repair even though I told them I had covid exposure. Expected vehicle to be completed in 3 days, got lots of excuses about how busy they were, had short staffing, etc. None of this was my problem, I waited 3 months to get 1st available appt., and it was 4th of July weekend... without my car! When finally told they would get it finished, told I couldn't come in building since I was covid positive. My significant other couldn't either because he was exposed to me? It was ok to drop off with exposure BUT not pick up? Had to use my credit card, return to 3rd party to issue new check to MD to take to my bank.Caused lots of drama that seemed very unnecessary and severely damaged my view of how the Mungnast values their customers. I would love to say that I'll never return but it's a bigger inconvenience for me to get to another dealership for service.

Overall the actual repair work was fine. Not a great job at following up with the administrative staff; my car was completely finished on Friday AM, to which my insurance company had left me a message which I didn't get to until later that night. This repair shop also have a "App" where they supposedly track when your vehicle is estimated to be repaired, and never updated that as well. Called Monday and was told they left a voicemail (they did not), also did not send my vehicle out for the service-work (which should have been done as soon as it was completed on Friday) to the dealership that was discussed in detail upon vehicle drop off and acknowledged. I asked for a copy of the alignment report, told me it would be no problem they would email me it later that day. No email, left a message, not response, then called and was transferred, to which I was told the "machine" did not have a record of it, so I'd have to bring my car back in to get a alignment report..... In short, bad administration and management practices, good repair services. I wont be back.Services: Painting

I love Mungenast and this review is hard to write given my history with the company. I had taken my wrecked car there to be worked on, it became apparent immediately that the customer service was not helpful. I had to use other connections through the company to get answers to my questions, my emails went un answered, when I called 2 different times I was picked up and hung up on, I know this was intentional because it wouldn’t happen when I would block my number. Long story short after 4 days of run around I ended up having my car towed else where for repairs and even that wasn’t easy because we had called to release the far on Friday, and come Monday they were saying no one ever released it.

Mungenast had our vehicle for over 2 months. Each week the story was “We are almost ready to start work”. Come to find out they were waiting on insurance company approval, but weren’t really trying to chase down that approval. Once I figured this out I was able to resolve the issue in a single day. From there, lots of promises around dates the vehicle would be available were missed. Communication was a major issue throughout with many promises to “call us back today” with an update that went unfulfilled. Upon finally receiving our vehicle back, we found out a tire and rim that were paid to be replaced were in fact not replaced. This is questionable to me, and makes me wonder what else they charged us for that we cannot see.When I pointed out the rim was not replaced the immediate response was “it was probably a different rim and since the tires were rotated, now it is in a different spot”. Upon stating I have pictures of the original damage that exactly match the rim that is still on the vehicle post repair, they agreed to do some research. They called back later to confirm the rim and tire were in the store room but not replaced.Given the excessive delays and defensiveness when pointing out the missed fix I was charged for, I would recommend taking your business to literally any other collision center in the Midwest. Our initial estimate of “we will have your car back in two weeks” turned into the above. Given the missed parts, who knows what else I was charged for that wasn’t replaced or properly fixed.I hope this review helps someone else avoid similar frustration.Services: Body & Trim

The website says you can get an estimate Monday thru Friday from 7am-6pm. I was there this morning and was told there wasn't anybody there to write an estimate. So right off the bat someone is lying. They did however schedule me for next Friday which is the day after thanksgiving. What kind of sense does that make ? If I didn't know better, it was as if they just didn't want to be bothered
