New Mount Sinai Cemetery

Hours: Providing a hilly, park-like environment for in-ground burials, and the only Jewish cemetery in St. Louis with a Community Mausoleum. Historic family mausoleums and sarcophagi in the Neoclassical architectural style. Established in 1850, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Permits non-Jewish burials and cremations. For 168 years New Mount Sinai Cemetery has provided Jewish families with a time-honored final resting place for their loved ones. In this cemetery are buried many men and women who have contributed greatly to the Jewish Community, including rabbis, cantors, philanthropists, business leaders, political figures, and veterans from every major conflict since the Mexican-American War in 1846.
