About Old Courthouse
The Old Courthouse is a meaningful and must-see part of the Gateway Arch National Park, adding nice scenic charm. This beautifully preserved, well-maintained museum features very interesting and informative educational exhibits. The interior dome view is beautiful and quite impressive, with art and photos around the room. Visitors can see historic courtrooms, though only the first two floors are accessible to the public. Entry is free. The National Parks staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Many recommend visiting close to sunset for a lovely view of the Arch from the exhibition rooms.

Went into The Old Courthouse for the first time and it was really neat to learn and see all the history.

Beautiful courthouse with lots of history. Exhibits were excellent, especially for Harriet and Dread Scott. Very moving presentations of how slavery played out here in Saint Louis. A very sobering and open discussion everyone needs to be aware of. Thank you for keeping us educated!
