We ordered soup, the wild rice soup from Panera on Transit Road in Lockport. As I was eating the soup, I found a piece of plastic in my soup. I called the store and told them about it and they just apologize about it and he, the man told he told me he was going to tell his boss this is very unacceptable

Horrible Placed order to go $30.00 for Sandwich, soup and macaroni. They prepared my order for eat in. Then had to wait additional 6 minutes for them to pack it up to go! Not a good place anymore. Macaroni was half empty. Tiny container. Shame on bread company for such awful awful customer service!

Now has the worst rewards plan of any company I have.
They previously gave me a free cookie or a $1 off a bagel or pastry, etc.
All I ever have there is breakfast... either a bagel or a pastry. I'm there 5 days a week and have their coffee subscription. I've been coming since I retired 8-9 years ago.
This is the 21st century... I swipe my Panera card each time and they know what I get.
Now, every time I get a reward, it's a $1 off soup, salad, of some sandwich. I can't remember the last time I used a reward. So clearly, they know they're giving me rewards I don't use.
A few months ago I emailed their headquarters (twice), but I got bullshit excuses.

Panera has one of the nicest and most efficient and well run corporate offices I've visited. I'm very impressed with the headquarters and the company, it's leadership, and employees!

I went to my local Panera Bread in Sicklerville NJ cafe# 203808 on 1/3/25 where I ordered the Italiano sdw. I was asked if I wanted it toasted and I asked was the roll fresh I was told of course it is fresh so I said there is no need to toast it. Well the roll was not fresh I got lunch meat on it that was just folded to look like it was a lot of meat. I didn't get the meat that they told me I was getting. I was so up set to $11.72 for slop. I called the Corporate office to complain they told they would have the manager contact me well that never happened so I called again and was told the same thing and still NOTHING happened. So I called a third time and they told me that they sent up to the management team at the Corporate office as as the store I went to and nothing happened. Pretty bad when management blows you off. The guy I spoke to someone named Mark on 1/22/25 he said he can only send me an emailed gift card so I can get another bad sandwich. I am going to put this all over social media so everyone can just drive pass Panera Bread

First of all, I love Panera, if you order right you can get way better food for the same price as fast food. I travel a lot, so I go to Panera’s all over the country. One thing that is absolutely consistent across all Paneras is dirty bathrooms and dining rooms. The bathrooms at every location I have ever been to are downright gross and smelly and often in dis repair. This is what happens when you expect low paid hourly employees to clean bathrooms with zero instructions. I own a cleaning company, people have to be taught to clean in order to do it right, cleanliness doesn’t just happen. Panera needs to invest in a professional cleaning company to do nightly cleanings. I’m tired of walking into a Panera first thing in the morning and seeing filthy dirty floors and crumb filled tables from the night before. Where are the standards? This is solely a corporate and management issue.

Let me begin by saying this: Panera used to be a go-to destination for fresh, satisfying meals. Over the last two years, however, the decline in quality, service, and value has been impossible to ignore.
The portions have become laughably small, yet the prices continue to rise as though we're dining at a five-star establishment. Favorite menu items, the ones that made Panera a staple for so many, have been unceremoniously removed, leaving a selection that feels uninspired and incomplete. And then there's the service. Slow, disorganized, and often bordering on indifferent—it’s as if the concept of "fast-casual" has been completely forgotten.
This is not the Panera I used to recommend to friends or eagerly visit during a busy day. Instead, it’s a watered-down version of its former self, demanding premium prices for an increasingly mediocre experience.
I hope these concerns don’t fall on deaf ears, though recent trends suggest otherwise. Perhaps Panera will remember what made it great before it alienates even more loyal customers.

Lately, I have bad service. Either they can't get my salad order right or they can not understand what i am asking for. Not even a sorry for the wait or for giving you the wrong order. I will not be back.

Notice there are almost 300 horrible reviews rating of a “1”
They should fire all their senior management in corporate office and start all over. Once a great company now one of the worst in America.
