I was broken down in an unsafe area. I called Penske and Keith wad there in less than 15 minutes. He manufactured the part I needed and got me back on the round in spite of the 90 degree heat. 5 star service!

Reserved a truck 3 months in advance and 15 blankets. Arrived at 7:30am. No truck, no blankets. Waited over 2 hours for a truck. Credit card was denied. Only to find out that the customer before us was denied also. Bank said it was a glitch in Penske sytem. Desk person was polite and apologized. The check engine light kept going on and off for two days. Truck door did not close properly. Load wind noise the entire two day trip. The person at return desk was pleasant.

Reserved a cargo van 3 months ahead of a cross country trip from St. Louis to Oregon. The week of the trip we were told by John that they didn't have a cargo van for us. They tried to find one but couldn't. They gave us a 15 ft box truck instead. We had a cargo van amount of stuff, and didn't want to drive the big box truck across country and through mountains. Noah was very understanding and professional and did discount the box truck. The first truck they gave us was pulling wildly down the highway. We stopped and took pictures of the front tires. We were appalled. We contacted Noah and he quickly offered to replace the truck. We returned the bad truck and received a new truck with only 13k miles. We are still shocked that we almost drove cross country with tires like this. But, we do appreciate the customer service they provided to remedy the situation. Penske needs to be more upfront about their cargo van rentals. The employees in this case did whatever they could to make the situation better. Do better Penske. The reason this isn't a 1 star review is because your employees did an amazing job in fixing a bad situation. Thank you Noah and John.

Overall a great experience. The truck was ready when it was supposed to be and pickup was fast. It was a newer truck and drove well. The hand cart we rented was essential for a move. They gave us a discount beyond AAA without us asking which was generous. There was a flat tire on the way and we got personalized customer service over the phone. Were allowed to go to the most convenient tire shop location for us and Penske paid. Drop off took less than 2 minutes. Only drawback was the roof was leaking in heavy rain. This could be really bad depending what you're hauling. They credited us $50. 16' fits more than you think if packed very well.

Rented unit has been fixed in this location for almost 3 weeks. They put truck in night shift, they don't have part, they take truck out so day shift can order part, they put truck in night shift again, they need another part and round it goes. Very unprofessional handling of this situation. Zero effort to expedite repair.
