We had to get a same day grooming appointment late afternoon on Saturday - we originally had an appointment for 3 weeks at Petsmart before our vacation. When we dropped her off for her early morning scheduled time, Petsmart called within 30 minutes later and said Ginger was "too stressed out to be groomed." After picking her up and going back home, we were angry because this is the 2nd time this has happened to us with this particular Petsmart location. I looked online and saw availability at Petco same day and scheduled a time. They called us immediately and told us we could bring her in earlier if possible. We made the 30 minute drive to Petco and they took care of her. Other than not being a fan of the dryer, they said she was absolutely fine. She was in and out in about an hour for bath, brush, and nail trim. We looked thru the window in the grooming area a couple of times to check on her and she was fine. We shopped in the store while we waited. Fortunately we have a new grooming place. Unfortunately Petsmart has someone who has no patience to do her job and has lost a customer. I feel like they overbooked and didn't want to deal with her even though we had the appointment for several weeks. All it took was someone kind to talk to her and pet her for a minute and she was good to go. Thank you to Kristen at the Petco on Telegraph Rd - you were wonderful and we have now been here twice with very positive experiences! You can bet I will be relaying this story to PetSmart Corporate office as well. We appreciate Petco and we will be back!! Thank you again!!

not only was I den the 30% discount since I bought a food item, I asked for a refund on the food and the cashier charged me again instead of giving me a refund. this happened after I mentioned that I have a brain injury. totally unforgivable behavior. I am contacting my credit card company for fraud on the i I was charged twice for, but never got either bag of food

Refused to see my older, non-aggressive beagle for the crime of "not standing during drying time" one time ever during his previous appointment. No apologies, no exception made even though I had a confirmation email with the confirmation appt in-hand. He's never bitten a groomer, and he's been groomed regularly since 2013. Suddenly, last time out of the blue he's unacceptable? Not buying that it's him and not them. This happened 1 month ago tomorrow, and I realized I'd left a review everywhere but here. Avoid and support ANY small pet business in the area.
