I’m new to the area and had brought my Yorkie-mix dog to one of the “elite” pet spas and another time to a local groomer, neither of which were very good. The elite spa? I couldn’t even tell my dog had been touched. The local groomer? Got fleas there! So then I finally decided my little tater head might as well go close to the house and this Petsmart is less than one mile. When I dropped him off my thoughts were…”Hope this lady knows what she’s doing”. 3 hours later I got the call to pick him up. I braced myself for the worse. When I saw my baby he was beautiful! The groomer did an awesome job! I highly recommend the groomers at this Petsmart!

So many good folks here. MO was our trainer for beginner and intermediate classes. She did amazing work with us and our dog and gave us all the right tools to help our dog be happy and mindful. She didn't graduate intermediate, but that's on us, not Mo. We'll be back to give it another go, but only with Mo. Jesse (spelling?) was a great groomer. It was our girls first time getting groomed and she came out looking and smelling amazing. Our girl loved her, too. From chatting with other guests dropping off and picking up their pups, every groomer is great here. So far, not one complaint after coming here for a couple years.

I’ve been coming to this location for a little over a year to get my dog groomed and I couldn’t be happier. I go to Anthony and every time, he is consistent and very nice. I have a goldendoodle and I’ve been through a plethora of horrible haircuts and I can say I am always satisfied here. I think their pricing is good for a cut and bath, tip your groomers! I will continue coming back.

Great PetSmart. Particularly pleased they had puppies up for adoption the day I visited. I do not remember much else about the store but the puppies and other dogs were so cute it didn’t really matter.

Anthony is, without a doubt, the best stylist I've ever found for my dog, Icecream, since I got him in 2020. I’ve tried numerous stylists from various places, always showing them the same picture of the teddy bear look I want. I understand that sometimes my dog’s hair isn’t long enough for the exact cut, but no one has been able to achieve the look until Anthony came along today! I absolutely love his work! My husband and parents also agree that it's the best haircut ever.
Additionally, Joya has been amazing with brushing Icecream since my first visit to this place. Her brushwork turns my pup into the cutest fur ball, and he always gets lots of compliments. This place is my go-to as long as I’m in STL. Thanks to the South City team!

I have had more than one person say my dog is not a Pomeranian at this store . He is , just not the type they are used to seeing. He is a fox type and gets very upset each time he is called a mutt 😪 I would think people that work in a pet store would be a little more educated on dog breeds and if they aren't just keep there opinions to themselves. He came from a shelter and is my best friend . They should Google Pomeranian types before they make judgements.

They canceled my dogs grooming appointment 15 mins before. I was almost there. I understand things happen but If someone is out for the day they should call the early appointments first thing.
