This is my go-to place for fuel and smokes. I live in Illinois. The prices here are worth traveling across the river for!

Sketchy location. But the cashier was nice. I needed a bag of ice. Had to wait for her to check a few people out before she could unlock the ice box. Not her fault, it's because derelicts will steal anything not secured in the city.

This business has become a significant problem for our community. It's poorly managed, and its neglect has turned it into a magnet for homeless individuals, who often linger around the property day and night. The lack of upkeep and attention from the owners has led to an unsafe environment that attracts all kinds of negative activities.
Local residents and business owners including a nearby event venue are increasingly frustrated with the situation. It's clear that the business owners have done little to address the issues or take responsibility for their impact on the community and their employees.
While we all sympathize with the challenges faced by the unhoused community, the lack of a proper response from this business has only exacerbated the problem. It's time for the owners to step up, and work with local authorities and organizations to find a more constructive solution. Until then, this convenience store affiliated with Phillips 66 will continue to be a blight on our community.

Owner does nothing to control the rampant homeless aggravating customers and allows drug transactions at all times of day. These great employees deserve respect and protection. You lost my business as a ten year Soulard resident. Man up and make change.

Was outside banging on the window for about 20 minutes trying to pay the clerk for some fuel.
I hate it when stores use a drawer to conduct business at night, only the customers suffer.
I never did get any fuel from that location. What a pain.

I went here on a Saturday to get gas and cigarettes. I live in Illinois and it's cheaper in Missouri so I made the drive. I ordered the cigs and told the lady, "Pall Mall, short dark blue box" and pulled out my debit card. Without looking in the bag, I left. A few hours later I noticed they were in a green box, menthol. The next day I drive all the way back to exchange them. The lady told me she couldn't do it, once I left the store, that's that. I went back on Tuesday hoping to talk to the manager. She wasn't there and the I explained to the lady working that this was their mistake and I didn't think I had to look in the bag before walking out. She said the manager would be back Wednesday. I went back and the manager said it was against the law to exchange them. I told her, "no it's not, I work at a law firm and we checked when the other lady said that yesterday." She said, "Well, we still can't do it." I spend about $150 a week at this gas station -- for the last 8-9 years. This stupid decision will cost them because I'm never going back there again. If a business can't even fix their own mistake then they deserve the loss of customers. To any future visitors, check our bag when you leave because employees who can't do their job effectively will cost you in the end.
