Angie is THE BEST! I told her what I kind of wanted and she made it come true. She really made my hair lighter like I wanted. She did the balayage perfect and made it look like lived in hair. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and I recommend her 10/10.

My wife gets her hair done here. $100 to $120 each visit. I watched a young boy get a standard haircut for$70. I think great clips really a better way to go for a guy.

I have been going to Angie Eaton for several years now and her hair cutting for men is exceptional , skilled, and she takes her time listening to what I need. She has perfected her craft with men’s Haircuts…. and she will be cutting my hair for a long time! She is definitely one of the few in St. Louis that does an exceptional job with men’s hair.

Angie is the BEST! It is very apparent that her “job” is more like a hobby; something she loves to do. From my very first consultation, she was extremely personable and did not just tell me what I wanted to hear. It had been about two years since I had my hair done. My cousin recommended her to me and I am so glad she did! When I first met Angie, I explained to her I would like to get rid of the leftover red in my hair, and wanted to do a balayage if possible. She let me know it would be a process, which I was totally fine with! I understood that red is often hard to get rid of. We both had the same end goal, and wanted to do it the healthiest way possible. After every session, I have left her chair LOVING my hair more and more! She always takes her time, and I have never felt rushed. I ALWAYS leave the salon feeling satisfied, and she feels like a friend rather than my beautician. For reference, the first photo is before Angie did my hair. Just look at that process!!!

I am so angry right now. I’ve tried to be so kind and understanding about this but the more I look at my hair and the situation I find myself to be more upset. This was the second time I’ve gotten my hair done by a stylist there. She seem sweet and the first time she bleached my hair it was great.fast forward two months later I go in for a touch up just the roots. And idk much about bleaching but from I heard 10 mins top for the touch up. She left my hair in bleach for 25 mins and under high heat. Didn’t think anything of it. Then as she’s unfoiling she starts asking me strange questions like if my hair ever fell out from this hair removal
I used 2 months before I went in. I said no as you can see my hair is still super healthy. I see a Chunk of my hair on the floor as she sweeps it away. Still didn’t say anything to me. then ask me how I part my hair I say down the middle as always she then flips my hair over to the side. Ok… takes my $20 tip and charges me the amount as before $93. I go home it’s dark. The next morning I spilt my hair down the middle and there is a huge patch of hair gone!!!! Missing that broke off. It literally look like someone chopped my hair off. More of my hair is missing. I look like I barely have bangs! So rude and unprofessional to take my money and hide from me. I then text her asking what the deal was she denied it and blamed a product I used until I defended myself that my hair was normal when I walked in and proof of pics then she finally suggested she refunds me back but continue to lie and not take accountability. I can never come back to this place. And I have to regrow my hair all over again!

I started seeing Angie at Platinum Hair this past year after my last stylist retired (followed by a string of not great experiences with other stylists at other companies) and I won't be looking back.
While I have the worst trouble articulating to my stylist what I want my cut to look like, Angie was able to make sense of my description and deliver an amazing look the very first time! And since, I get compliments on my hair after every single time I get a cut from her.
Angie is always a pleasure to visit with, she is incredibly consistent in her work, and she really hears what you need- and ensures that you leave feeling like a million bucks! Thanks Angie!
