It’s really disappointing when you know you have brands that top most of every little thing they have in the store for them to reject it. I feel like the buying process is based off the examiners personal style. No shade, but the gothic girl that wore fishnets on 4/7 is passing on items — mind you the items are new/ like new.. no peeling no odor or etc because she doesn’t personally like them. She should be working the register and doing light housekeeping chores. There’s ran down shoes - with stains and viable dirt marks on them, bath suits — that are deteriorating and etc hanging up ALLL OVER THE STORE and my offer is not good for business needs? LMAO all shade.. do better girlies!

Absolutely the WORST place open EVER! The “rewards program” is a scam. If employees “forget” to ask about your number they don’t correct the mistake and take the price off. Also I took a lime green $400 Michael Kors backpack WITH the tag on it to the store for resale-$35 is what was offered!? They have sales every week to make things priced what they actually should be! But then only have one cashier while the line is all the way to the back of the store. It’s an absolute joke.

If you're shopping for clothes at a really great discount, I doubt you could not find something to make your trip worthwhile

The payout is extremely low. They took 25 items from me, their bin was completely full, and paid out $37. I said okay because I didn’t want to carry it all back out, but that’s $1.48 per item. These items included NWT Frame denim, with a $199 price tag, 2022 American Eagle men’s jeans, a NWT Nike tee and some other misc NWT things. Unless you’re planning on tagging these things at $5ish I don’t see how this equates to a fair payout. An item retailing for $199.99 would be tagged $60 at your website advertised 70% off retail price. A 25% payout from that would be $15. Even if you did a 20% payout it would be $12. If you did pay me that much for the one item then you’d of paid out $1.04 a piece for everything else. The math isn’t working. If it is computerized you need to update your system.

the employees are so rude it’s honestly unbelievable. you’ll find good clothes sometimes but don’t go in there expecting good customer service!

This plato’s closet location’s employees have the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. I brought in a huge bag full of items with brand new tags and I was offered $5. The attitude I received was shocking when asked why. Respect in this store lacked notably. I will never be back.

They need to make sure the sizes are correct because I don't like buying stuff that say its a certain size and it isn't

Went in with 4 medium sized bags with all kinds of a variety of items. I ended up receiving $91 for 2 bags full of my things. Great deal for me because i was going to donate the rest anyways. I arrived maybe 30 minutes after opening and there was maybe one person in front of me selling. Front desk girl told me it would be around a 45 minute wait and that was pretty accurate of a wait time. Easy process for selling. Don't expect top dollar for you times people this is not a designer place and a lot of people don't understand that then complain in reviews. The only reason i gave 3 starts is because the front desk chick was really stern rather than friendly. She didn't smile or greet me. She just said "selling?". Not rude necessarily but definitely not welcoming.

they never buy anything unless its impeckable. yet if it was flawless. why would anyone get rid of thier stuff that was still like brand new? i can appreciate the idea of only purchasing quality merchandise but not being a second hand store.

Went in to sell and my kid had practice in 3 hours. I thought that I would have enough time to sell but I didn't they had 2 hours to look through my bag but didn't get around to it. I had to pull my bag and I have to sell my things another day.

One of the best Plato's locations I've visited so far. Everything is always pretty neat even though it seems to stay extremely busy. Very nice staff. Lots of parking too which is always a plus.
