Saint Louis Hop Shop is Saint Louis' first locally owned bottle shop, specializing in craft beer, wine, and spirits. It offers an incredible selection, from local brands to national top sellers, supplied by nine cooler doors of cold storage. The shop provides a true Saint Louis experience with a tasting bar featuring six rotating taps and bottles or cans to enjoy on premise or on the outdoor patio. It is a great spot with a wonderful, laid-back vibe in one of the best neighborhoods, the Cherokee Business District. The friendly and knowledgeable folks create a welcoming atmosphere where customers often end up hanging around, pulled into conversation. It is a modern-day Cheers, a rad place to start an exploration of Cherokee Street. The establishment is a very strong supporter of its community, frequently hosting weekly events. New selections enter the store frequently, making it the place in St. Louis for craft beer lovers.

I went there for a meet and greet with the alderperson from ward 7. Everything went well. Food arrived in crock pots and we had nachos and beans. We heard a 5 to 10 minute presentation that was 23 minutes but I expected it. The bar service was fine and fast. Would go there again.
