I haven't been in a Schnucks in almost 30 years.Due to moving away from St.Louis.But it was great to step foot back into one. They had some awesome deals and decent food prices. Will definitely go back when I'm in town again.

Why take away the majority of the regular checking lanes and expand self checkout if we can’t even get locked liquor unless we wait in the regular check out lines? It’s ridiculous considering most people in the regular checking lines have a cart full of groceries and I’m stuck waiting for 1 item. Totally ridiculous, definitely going down the street to Randall’s for liquor from here on out ???

It's a good grocery store but they are often times out of specific items we buy. Bread, yogurt, Gatorade, etc. I've also found expired products still on the shelves and in the produce section quite a few times. That's not so great and being out of stock is inconvenient, but I prefer this Schnuck's to the others around where I live.

If you live on the hill or in TGS, go here to get a more gentrified and hip selection of what you can't find at the Schnucks on S. Grand. A good store with a wide selection of groceries and friendly staff. Better specialty options for some people than Schnucks S. Grand. Produce isn't really as good as the one on Grand though. I come here when I can't find something down the street at Grand. All schnucks are not created equal, but this one has always given me pleasantly weird vibes. Good people watching too.

I have had a few negative experiences with the Wyte individuals that work in self checkout from snappy attitudes up to a Wyte man sitting his behind on the self checkout register across from me barking orders on how I should check out as if he was accusing me of stealing! I hate to call them racist but OF THE SCHNUCKS UNIFORM FITS!!!!

The fresh food at this location is low quality. The produce isn't well maintained, and often goes bad days sooner than what I buy at other local grocery stores. The meat also isn't great, there are fresh offerings sometimes, but often it looks sweaty and on the wrong side of the best sold by date. The prices seem like they are inflating faster than the other premium grocery stores in the area. If I have time the dierbergs on Watson has much better food at comparable prices, and it is an all around better experience.

Terrible customer service, ignored my request for help 3 times and reset when I canceled order, when I finally came over to her to tell her the problem and ask for help she was very rude! Not helpful at all, too many times has the customer service people here been rude even to the point of disrespect. Another time I was very rudely told to “wake up then” when I was waiting in line, I work nights baking good bread and was very tired, no need for the rudeness and disrespect, it’s happened enough to where I feel I need to take the time to leave a review. Train your employees in basic politeness!!! I’m calling in to the main headquarters the next time, shape up and be professional!

Go here instead of the Hampton location; that place is a cluster. Just watch out for people who are obviously from the UK who walk on the left side of the aisle. (How does any human being living in the US go forward on the left side? It drives me crazy.) This Schnucks location had every weird ingredient I needed, without the headache.

We’ve been going to this Schnucks for 10+ years as it’s the closest one. The staff are nice and helpful, however, I don’t understand the positive reviews for this store given that every time you go there, you can’t find something because it’s out of stock. The produce is the worst - it’s become a family joke on what we won’t be able to purchase this week.I would hope that as Schnucks is redoing its country stores (e.g. the newly renovated Crestwood location), that it would finally decide to invest money in its city locations…

I'm an instacart shopper and this is one of the best places I have shopped in the area. It's always kept clean. The bathrooms are kept very clean and well stocked.I rarely find any items past their due dates on the shelves. They consistently have the most inventory in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. If something is not on the shelf, they are more than happy to go and check in the back. The cashiers are fantastic and very friendly. The self-checkout area moves pretty quickly and the staff monitoring it are very good at helping people figure out how to use it.The staging area for curbside is always kept clean, despite other instacart shoppers doing their best to leave the place looking like a wreck. All of the stores janitors work very hard to make sure that this location is as clean as possible and that the trash cans are kept emptied.Rachel does an awesome job keeping the shelves stocked and has found several items for me in the back when I needed them for a customer. If I see her in the store she is usually my go-to person for help. I don't know her name but the lady in the dairy area in the morning is also fantastic. She's never too busy to help, even if she's got a whole pallet to work.

I've been coming to this store for a long time but have never been so disrespected by a cashier as I was today! I spend $400- $500 a week on groceries but I guess from now on I'll be going to the Schnucks on Hampton much friendlier place!!

Is it just me to or does Schnucks give this specific store better quality items than the rest of the Schnucks in the city?I need a better grocery store that isnt Schnucks or Dierbergs.

the staff, for the most part, are horrible. they very loudly talk trash about their coworkers and how they dislike their jobs. I've only encountered one decent person in self checkout, otherwise they act as you are nothing more than an inconvenience. there is one very nice gentleman who stocks, typically in dairy, who always says hello. these days I will typically go further out to go to a Schnucks with more courteous human beings, not only to the customer but to each other. only go here for something urgent (which is rare). this store also has the new electronic signage, which is too small and not contrasted enough to read.
