It used to be a great place to shop but too much negativity and attitude now. Trying to find a store employee to help you is next to impossible and once you finally do, they let you know with loud sighs and lots of eye rolls that you've inconvenienced them. I've spoken with management in the past but that's a complete waste of time because they just make excuses. I went back to shopping at Dierbergs at West Oak where they are always pleasant and helpful.

The loud woman at the register is so akward and makes me uncomfortable. She’s screaming out my items at the store that I’m buying and she’s socially awkward. Sorry if I’m being mean but she should not work at the register if she doesn’t have any social awareness. Also, the produce here is going downhill. There is always GNATS flying around the veggies. This is the closest schnucks to me so most of the time to go somewhere else for better produce I have to drive out of my way. I test it every time I come here and every time I do, the produce looks so bad.

Selling candy at a discounted price without signage to indicate it’s past the expiration date is horrible customer service, if not abusive.

I’ve lived near this location for over seven years, and it used to be my go-to grocery store. Unfortunately, since the remodel and subleasing of space, the store has steadily declined in quality.
The store is often messy, poorly stocked, and staffed by employees who seem disengaged. There’s a noticeable lack of customer service—no greetings, no offers to help, and no urgency to maintain a clean, welcoming environment. I now drive an extra 10 minutes to other Schnucks locations or to Dierbergs, where I consistently find a better experience.
The photo I’ve attached was taken at 9:00 AM on a Friday morning. It’s the first thing customers see when they walk in—and clearly something every employee saw and ignored. That’s not just disappointing, it’s inexcusable.
This location needs serious attention from management. Schnucks has a strong reputation elsewhere, and I hope corporate steps in to restore this store to the standard customers expect.
