“My son has been attending since he was around 2 years old and is now almost 3, and is thriving at BP. The teachers are kind, caring, and communicative, and they keep me updated on his day to day, speech, and overall development, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. I can tell that they’re really keeping track of his well being and how he’s acting day to day.
What also stands out is how welcoming the staff is, everyone knows my son by name, and that has been true since the beginning. When my son had a broken leg, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate him and make sure he felt safe, included, and cared for, which meant so much to us.
They have goals and are setting the kids up for success for school years while still letting them have play time. I especially love the playground and wooded setting and paths and how much time the kids spend outside when the weather allows.
While there have been some staffing changes, we mostly see familiar, happy faces. I would absolutely recommend Berry Patch to other families.”

“As a stay-at-home parent searching for the right early childhood environment for my first child, I felt incredibly lucky to find Ethical Society Nursery School. From the very beginning, it stood out. The open communication, clear boundaries, deep investment in each child, and thoughtful balance of low-tech, nature-based play all create something truly special. But more than anything, it was the sense of joy and safety my child felt from his very first day.
Our son started in the two-day Green class in January, and the teachers and director went out of their way to make both of us feel supported, seen, and genuinely excited for this new chapter. From that point on, every stage of his development felt like a true partnership. We were never navigating anything alone, and as a parent, that kind of trust and collaboration means everything. On top of that, he has thrived in their play-based learning environment, and has surpassed all developmental and learning milestone while maintaining an joyful, supportive, low-stress experience.
Now, as our second child enters this same phase, I feel nothing but confidence and excitement for what lies ahead. I’m now a working parent, and the availability of before and after care has made that transition seamless. What stands out most, though, is how natural all of this support feels. Communication is direct, warm, and human. There is no barrier between families and teachers or leadership.
Even educators who have never directly taught my children know them, greet them by name, and show genuine affection and care. That speaks volumes about the kind of community this is.
Ethical Society Nursery School is a beautiful, intentional, progressive, and deeply nurturing place. We feel incredibly proud to be part of it, and I truly could not recommend it more highly.”

My son was a little behind in his speech so I was worried how thing would go for him, but Ms. Nancy and Ms. Amy have been so patient and helpful with him! They really are two amazing and care women! They have also be very helpful to me as a mother with my concerns and questions with this being they first time I have delt with any type of daycare/preschool. “Raintree school was an incredible experience for my children. As an educator myself, I had high expectations when it came to early childhood education. The teachers did an excellent job when it came to project based learning. It was enriching, challenging, and authentic. We saw much growth when it came to number sense and literacy skills. The teachers take the time to help all children learn about emotions, problem solving skills with peers, self regulation skills, and positive self image with a growth mindset. We chose Raintree during a year we knew our family would be dealing with a military deployment. We wanted a space where our children would be best supported and they were. They thrived in an outdoor environment and rich learning environment.”

“I absolutely adore the staff at Southside Childcare. They are so loving and supportive to the kids and families. When my son first started he barely spoke but it has progressed so much and learned so many things. From counting to 10, all the colors, objects and they are also supportive about assisting with potty training. I mean it's one thing for the kids to recognize their own teachers but to have all the staff interact and they know your child name and welcome them with a smile and good energy, hugs and love. Just warms my heart...I love them all there!!!!!!”

“Dropping my kid off somewhere really has never been easier. The ladies here genuinely care about your children. My 1yr old has been here for a couple months now, and she runs in the door she loves it here so much. She runs and jumps in the teachers arms almost everyday and watching that makes it that much easier to leave my kid here.
I feel like my kid is not only safe here because of the location and the teachers but I feel like she has also learned so much the past couple months. Almost every week she’s learned something new. From new words to new actions like cleaning or high-fiving. I really don’t think she could’ve learned so much so fast without the help of the teachers here. They really are awesome. Thank you!”

All of the staff is so friendly and works great with the kids, and it really is run like a school more than a day care. This is by far the best daycare I've ever had my kids in — it's the only one l've ever truly trusted.
The teachers are so wonderful, sweet, and caring.
They take their time with each child and really focus on helping them learn and grow. I love how they keep parents updated on everything, and they even hold teacher conferences, which I think is super helpful and thoughtful.
It's not like a regular daycare — it's a truly amazing learning center where kids are encouraged to engage, explore, and have fun while learning. My kids are always so excited to go every day, and that alone says so much. I honestly wish I would've found this place sooner. It's been such a blessing for our family!

Did I mention it’s free??? 20 dollars to park, great food options at a great price. MUST visit”
