South Broadway Art Project is a studio where clay meets community. It is a fully equipped place for beginners, hobbyists, and professional potters. The studio offers pottery classes, wheel throwing, paint your own pottery, and open workshop membership. It is for inquisitive beginners, off and on hobbyists, and experienced artists. The environment is wonderful, friendly, supportive, and encouraging. Talented and experienced instructors are helpful and provide guidance. The atmosphere promotes a feeling of community. It is a fun and creative place for a date night, to bring friends, or to learn a new skill. The facilities are amazing with everything a budding potter could wish for. Visitors can enjoy clay date nights, make a mug workshops, and take home their creations. It is a highlight of the week for many and is highly recommended.
Janie was a great guide through the difficult art of clay wheel. She helped us learn how to center and shape, and we ended up with some pretty pieces. Excited to see the finished product! Thanks and would recommend.

I took my wife here for a clay date night. We had a wonderful time! Our instructor was amazing everyone left with some great pieces. We will definitely come again in the future.

I'm new to pottery and I can't imagine learning anywhere else. Everyone is so helpful and the classes are great. It's a fantastic place to learn and feel like you belong.
