Starrs is a St. Louis jewel and a great little spot with the best fresh seafood in town, including wild-caught fish and amazing sushi-grade options. It offers a very large and broad selection of fabulous fresh fish, high-quality beef, pork, and lamb racks, plus an amazing and unusual variety of cheeses. The store also features a great and eclectic selection of excellent wines, beer, and liquor. Housemade specialties like crab cakes are delicious. Additionally, Starrs has a vast selection of specialty items in all categories, including pasta, beans, and superb house-roasted coffee. Knowledgeable staff are available to help with selections.
Scallops were top shelf, staff was very friendly and the store is really cool. There are things in here that you cant get anywhere else. This will be my only stop for great seafood and other items from now on.

Wonderful fresh fish and a nice choice of organic veggies. The coffee is the best in The Lou! So happy to be back here and go to this market.
