These guys got me a bigger refund than expected. I didnt pay nearly what I paid those other chain tax places and they did all the paperwork for me. I would highly recommend these guys for any personal and business taxes. I've been going here for a few years and they've done a wonderful job and they are all awesome people. If you want to make sure your taxes are done correctly, this is where you want to go. They even helped me with my business sales taxes.

*READ, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE*Rest assured while they got the average Joe covered, they'll curse, threaten, and even take steps toward you in attempts to cause bodily harm if you have feel necessary to raise any issues. Was chased away from the door after coming to pick up my file because the old gentlemen with glasses I spoke too there and prior on the telephone minutes before had became flustered and cursed me out over my concerns relating to one of his female workers speaking to me in a condescending rude manner, to where I initially was upset but quickly calmed down and at no point called anyone a curse word.I guess he didn't attack me because I carry a glove strapped to my chest, apparently I needed it.?Also told by Alex they'd reach out when I was back in town before the deadline and ended up calling on a Saturday, a day they aren't normally expected to even be in office from perspective of any given customer.Not to mention they only help you save money in a creative accountant way if your a favorite, don't expect anything special if you have a bad first impressionFinally don't let them mislead you as a company (poorly strung together at that), this is all truthful and nobody deserves to be treated unexpectedly in such a way regarding documents pertaining to income and yearly filing of federal taxes.

Called asking for basic tax advise regarding a county tax and other tax related issues. The person answered the phone right away to their credit. As soon as they THOUGHT it wasn’t related to specifically income tax I was hung up on after a few general comments and was told they were busy. He wouldn’t give me 60 seconds to explain what was going on. Not very friendly or caring, and not a good listener. I can’t believe I was hung up on, so rude.

I found STL tax after dealing with another tax preparer that refused to return calls. Multiple calls. STL Tax is everything the other place was not.Jim & everyone I have come into contact with are friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable. The rates are reasonable, and they walk you through every step, providing as much guidance as you require. They promptly return emails and/or phone calls, which is much appreciated.This is my first year using STL Tax to prepare my taxes, and I will be back for all my tax needs.Thank you Jim and everyone.
