“Shop at this location weekly. Staff is always very helpful, even though the chain isn’t known for exceptional customer service they are always pointing me in the right direction if I need something. Products are fresh, store is fairly clean.”
“It’s great having a grocery market in the neighborhood. The new owner has renamed it to Chesnut Market and has redone the parking lot behind it. He says he wants to brighten up the exterior a bit as it does look a little sketchy. More murals are always welcome
Regardless, the inside is a pleasant experience and has way more inventory than I imagined. Lots of dry goods, cans, etc. for reasonable prices. However I wish it was easier to know what they stocked, like if I could search it online before heading there. I wanted to get a banana but they didn’t have any, I think they had apples though.”
“Compared to the Schnucks down the road, this Dierbergs is a treat. Newer, brighter and wider aisles. I don’t live in Oakville anymore, but years ago this was our main grocery store, and it served us well.”

“5 Star is Truly a Kitchen for the Community. Many go for great food and a friendly conversation. The owners are very respectful and hard- working. The Store is known for being very clean and reliable. There are many Homeless and those in need in this area, and 5 ⭐️ is known for blessing people who can't afford to pay. Also allow some to do small jobs are the store to earn a plate.
Many businesses have recently closed in this community, and the people need some where close to Home ? to get what they need 5⭐️has become our Source of Great company, fair prices, and friendly service. Five stars for 5 ⭐️”
“Nice, but the other day there was only one white guy working. We waited in line for like 10 minutes. Whatever, we get it, and felt bad for the guy as there were several people inquiring about other cashiers.
We get up to the line and my mom is pulling up her app to pay for the food. The cashier rolls his eyes, sighs, and then yells "PLEASE HAVE YOUR PAYMENT READY WHEN YOU GET TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE". Like. Sir. We waited for so long. You can't wait a few seconds while my mom pulls up her payment?Seriously? She wasn't being rude or literally anything like the rest of the folks in line. She was actively trying to not even act frustrated. She was waiting patiently and was just trying to get out.
I get he was frustrated, but my mom was already anxious about that. There was no need to act so rudely and it only took her literally 6 seconds. Get right, Man. Save the attitude for people who deserve it.
It just pissed me off.”

“Nice and clean. We'll laid out store. Usually has what I am looking for. I will say the last time I was at this store the bagged russet potatoes, regular and organic, were green. Also with Dierburgs I have yet to get a good avocado.”

“I use to buy hot food from here but I eat no more fried foods , nachos are good the cook is somewhat friendly sometimes,I moved out of area but when I visit ,Prices have sky rocketed everywhere and their products are not always marked and when they are you have to watch it.They had this cajun Turkey in deli which is the best ,sliced how you like it...but a place to pay yr utility bills for a small fee when you have online problems before7pm is cool some days.”

“If you are looking for Schnucks 8525 Page Ave then don’t go to US Foods. There is a sign with only 8525 on it, it’s literally right next to US Foods. Take that driveway, there is no guard and check in is the first door by doors 1-11. Don’t go to the other side it’s a different company all the way down.
Take this driveway and the office is where I marked.”

“Yesterday, May 21st, I left the house to run a quick errand at DollarTree. I use a ride service app, Via, and didn't notice my phone was nearly dead until I tried to use the app for my ride home.
I walked up to Dierbergs hoping I could buy a cord and charger. The only charger was for a car, so my only hope was the kindness of a Dierbergs employee. I approached Daniel, explained my dilema, and he quickly contacted another employee, Jason, who had an Android phone charger. Daniel took the time to set me up in the dining area so I could charge my phone enough to use the Via app. Both young men were very kind, patient, and helpful to a senior citizen such as myself.

“been here a thousand times. I'm writing a few reviews nearby so I'll write this too. A great grocery store to get reasonably priced international food, mostly Chinese, Japanese, and Korean but they have some Mexican ingredients and a shelf of African ingredients like palm oil. You will probably be able to find what you need here, just look around.”
