This place is a MUST SEE gem of curiously curated vintage variety unmatched in the St. Louis area. And if you have a camera to sell or buy, Andy's your guy! Love ❤️ this place!

Absolutely love this place. The owner is awesome and super helpful. They have a great selection of stuff and it’s laid out very nicely. A lot of thought goes into what they pick for the store. They have a great selection of vintage cameras and the owner is very knowledgeable.

This place is a hidden gem, and I have wiled away many hours moseying through this shop. It's so much more than an antique store. Come here for antiques, knick knacks, various kinds of ephemera like old cards and photos, art, repurposed vintage appliances or furniture. The Bricoleur is a place to be inspired; I took my friend who is an artist, and she went home full of ideas (and a bag full of bits and pieces to use in her work later.) Everything also feels very reasonably priced here, and the gentlemen who were behind the counter were kind and helpful.

I was thrilled to discover this wonderful little shop recently. They have a deftly curated collection of quirky and unusual vintage items, beautifully displayed, and well-priced. We picked up a couple of treasures and spend a good hour or so browsing the charming space. The owners are friendly and knowledgable and clearly have a love and passion for what they do. I will most definitely be back soon!

Two of the rudest owners I've experienced in St Louis! They completely discriminate against all individuals by "requiring" shoppers to wear masks! If you refuse then you are threatened with them calling the police! To force mask wearing is nothing more than legalized discrimination....they might as well say "no blacks", "no gays", no Latinos" or "no women"! Do yourself and the citizens of St. Louis a favor and stay away from this discriminating business!

Amazing customer service. I didn't know how to change a light bulb in a lamp I bought from them and one of the owners personally walked me through it. Great place!

If you haven't been here yet, get yourself here! The Bricoleur is a wonderous store full of treasures at every turn. You'll find yourself falling in love with things you would never have imagined up (I left with a tiny gold armadillo that just made me happy just looking at it). Everything is priced so fairly and the store is beautifully curated. It's like shopping the best estate sale except you want EVERYTHING there. On top of that, if you are a photography n*** head to the front of the shop - cameras galore. And if your lucky have a conversation with the people who work here - so nice and informative, this is really a gem of a shop.

The Bricoleur is the perfect shop for roaming around and finding that perfect little something you didn't know you needed! The folks in the shop have a great eye; items are well presented and it's easy to walk through and see everything. The shop is neat and tidy but not the least bit stuffy. Bathroom is clean. (COVID note: the Bricoleur has been cautious about the pandemic. They were online only for months, then went to in person shopping, one party at a time, masks required.) Wares include vintage and antique pieces, plus refurbished and cleverly repurposed pieces made of found materials. As the sign says, a Bricoleur is "someone who creates objects from items at hand," and that's certainly the case here. One specialty is lamps, and recent selections included lamps made of metal cheese graters, a colander, cookie tins, and more. They'll also rewire and repair your own lamp for a very reasonable fee. The Bricoleur offers a great selection of vintage wall art, mirrors, smFall shelves, and even some new pieces by local artists to brighten your own walls. My recent purchases include a large crock, a sunburst mirror with repainted starburst frame, and fabulous vintage salt and pepper shakers. From tiny tchotchkes to substantial furniture pieces, something's likely to catch your eye as you browse the shop. Don't miss it on the easternmost end of a very walkable neighborhood!
