I usually only go out of my way to leave good reviews but AVOID SHOPPING HERE AT ALL COST. They close earlier than the store hours VERY frequently & are extremely rude. Today I got there at 6:40 & the closing time posted was 7pm. I tried to call around 6:25 to let them know I was on the way and received no answer. I ordered school uniforms & there was a 15% discount for them to be shipped to this specific store, all they had to do was hand me the box. I got to the store & they were the ONLY store in the area of the mall will the doors locked. I thought maybe there might be an emergency & they were short staffed until I read these reviews. Also The lights were still on until I knocked on the glass & someone cut them off without even bothering to ask what I needed BEFORE they were supposed to close.

Zero customer service. They apparently only hire the rudest people they can find. Completely unhelpful and only concerned about talking with each other.

The store was a mess! Clothes on the floor, thrown everywhere and piled up in the dressing rooms.

Store doors were closed at 7:10pm. The store hours online say open until 8pm. Unfortunately a very negative experience for back to school shopping for the kiddos. They were super disappointed.

Cute clothes, but the store was so hot couldnt enjoy shopping. When we asked the cashier about the ac and she said something about going to hospital.

Called and person on the phone was so rude . I ask if she had any specials going on and she said know clue look online. If you work at the store you should know. Never will I call that store again and will never go there.

I had a great shopping experience at his location. Went in to pick up an online order and found some more cute things. Ajla and Sandra both young girls, helped me out very profesional. No phones,no chitchating but polite and thankfull I came in. Great job, retail needs more employees like you.I visited the store 2 days later again. Had to return a few things from my online order and a lot of items I got at the store 2 nights ago. Sandra was working all by herself and again did she do an amazing job with all my returns. Unfortunately the register doesn't do scanning of barcods so she had to find every item on receipt by comparing barcode numbers. It took almost an hour to do all that. With a smile on her face she put in the effort to check multiple times, to make it right and find the items. All due respect Sandra, I aprishiate your patience and positive attitude and thank you again.

They only get a one star because a review cannot be written without one. Customer service at south county center in st Louis is awful. Will never shop there. As the staff are rude. They do not value the customer at all.

I experienced my first bad experience today at this location with an employee by the name of Nancy. Older Caucasian lady. The whole time I’m texting in my phone while searching for a pair of pants for my niece school event tonight. Employee Nancy gave me full eye contact as I’m walking into the store but never greeted me. She had her eyes on me the whole time. Everywhere I went in the store Nancy was sure to follow. It was uncomfortable, annoying and very degrading but I ignored it. Once I got into the check outline guess who suddenly popped up to check me out? Nancy! While in line I overheard another customer say “That lady followed me all around this store” I turned around and said “interesting, I felt the same” Nancy (employee) jumps into the conversation while checking checking me out and says “I was folding clothes” oh, sure you were Nancy. The other customer calmly explained to Nancy why she felt she was being followed and how it was not okay for her to do that. Nancy took offense, never apologizing she rudely says to the girl “well, I’m sorry you feel that way, I’m just doing my job” the customer goes on about how wrong Nancy was. Meanwhile, I’m waiting for Nancy to check me out but she had rather go bk and forth with the customer. She then says to the other customer “you can leave if you are going to talk to me that way” so that was the issue, how dare you ask a customer to leave for expressing to you how you made her feel uncomfortable while she was shopping??? Wow! So I said to Nancy “I don’t want to buy anything, thank you” Nancy replied “Okay, that’s fine” from that response,she didn’t even want my business or me in the store anyways. Wow! After leaving I go back in to get her name. When I asked for her name she sarcastically said “My name is Nancy” during this entire event Nancy never apologized, showed any sympathy nor cared she lost two customers. She showed no cares or attempt to understand where we were coming from..She gave off this “This store doesn’t need your money anyways” attitude. she had no cares she just lost two customers. Mind blowing. I’m not at all oblivious to what’s going on in the world, I know people steal. But it isn’t fare to accuse everyone of stealing. I would never!! It’s degrading and that employee degraded me and the other customer, took all of my fun out of shopping for the rest of the day. I love shopping there. I’ve been there 10x or more within two months. 2x within 24hrs. I love shopping here for my niece..I even have a credit card with them. I spend my money here atleast twice a month and Miss Nancy saw me as an unworthy customer after I’ve been shopping with children’s place for almost 11yrs and had plans to continue as I am now expecting. I left the store and went home, im just not in the mood anymore. That was the worse feeling to have experienced today and embarrassing.

Had receipt wanted to exchange for exact same items but different sizes but they would not let me do to being past 45 days. Even though they were gifts with a receipt. Needless to say I will cancel my credit card!!!

Almost 2 weeks and my online order for school uniforms has yet to be shipped. School starts tomorrow, so I'm in the store trying to buy what I'm currently waiting to recieve. The store does not have the sizes or colors my kid's school requires. What a way to start the school year...
