We held our event at The Franklin, and we were truly blown away by the extravagant hospitality exemplified by the owners and all the staff! Danny and Christina are some of the kindest people we've had the pleasure to work with, and they bent over backwards to make sure that every need was accommodated - and trust me, we had a lot!! They were fantastic throughout the planning process and were always available to answer questions. They were both physically present during our event, and that gave us such peace of mind to know that they cared enough about our celebration to stay and make sure every detail was perfect!
The venue was in excellent condition - clean and glowing with historic charm - and we were thrilled to have it be the setting for our special day. We had multiple guests tell us how beautiful the space was!
The chef was absolutely phenomenal and did a fantastic job of curating a menu specifically for us! We are foodies with a love of new and authentic dishes, and the food did not disappoint! We had many guests approach us throughout the evening to say how delicious the food was! The serving staff were friendly and professional and truly added to the elegance of the evening.
We really can't recommend The Franklin enough!! It's a 10/10 for us! Thank you for making our celebration perfect!

We had our annual auction at the Franklin recently and it was a terrific experience from beginning to end. The owners and staff were accomodating to our needs and were helpful along the way as we planned the event.
On the evening of the event all attendees were taken by the beauty of the venue and the size was perfect as we could have a cocktail hour, dinner, silent and live auction in one room as well as a dance floor. The food was delicious and served on time and in a timely manner.
I would strongly recommend the Franklin.

We recently hosted a corporate Mardi Gras party at this fantastic venue, and it was an amazing experience! This was the third time I have personally attended an event at this location, and time and time again, it has been a great experience.
What truly sets this venue apart is the incredible staff and their warmth and professionalism. It’s clear they take pride in their work and strive to make every event memorable.
If you're looking for a place to host any kind of event, look no further! Whether it’s your wedding or a corporate event, I would trust this venue to guarantee an amazing experience.
Also, make sure to visit them when large events are happening down in Soulard, like Mardi Gras. I'm sure they will be a part of the party, and their gates will be there to welcome you in to party with them as well!

We had a school banquet on 2/21, and it was a wonderful time. There was clear communication throughout the months of planning, and Christina was very kind and accommodating in regard to last minute changes. The staff was quick to provide food and clear plates in between meals which was nice! I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much to Christina and your team!!!

We had an incredible experience hosting the Annual WashU Law BLSA Scholarship Banquet at The Franklin. From start to finish, the team was friendly, professional, and efficient, making the entire planning process seamless. They were exceptionally accommodating and worked with us to ensure our student organization budget was met without compromising quality.
I highly recommend The Franklin of Soulard for any event needs because of their attention to detail, flexibility, and overall dedication. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with an outstanding team, this is the place!

I've had the pleasure of both hosting an event with/at The Franklin and attending the wedding reception of a close friend there. Both experiences were exceptional!
- For the event I was a part of hosting, it was a Sunday Brunch and the entire Franklin team made the process SO easy from initial contact in the planning stage all the way to the clean-up post event. Christina (owner) is so organized and helpful with the planning aspect of everything and the entire team was so friendly and helpful on site with set-up and during the event. It's nice to host an event at a venue where you can laugh and joke and have a good time with the staff!
- For the wedding reception I attended, I was actually part of the bridal party and had a big part in the decor and such with my friend who was the bride. The Franklin did a fabulous job of executing our vision perfectly! The get ready suite on site was SO cute and plenty spacious for our crew of 9+ make-up artists and stylists. The next day, I went to help my friends with the clean up process and we were met with the same level of helpfulness as we, in our rough state of sleepiness, loaded everything up on carts to pack into our cars.
I would recommend the Franklin for just about any kind of large event I could think of to anyone I know! The space is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the food is good.

I have both hosted and attended a total of FOUR events with The Franklin and I cannot recommend The Franklin of Soulard enough - they are the most amazing team and staff. They are so incredibly accommodating. Whether you're looking for a gorgeous wedding, a fun unique event, off-site catering, your next business meeting - PLEASE consider The Franklin of Soulard. They have their own gated parking lot and are run by a fabulous husband and wife duo. The staff is seriously so fun and accommodating. Be sure to check them out for their fun public events that they have as well! There's nothing they cannot do!

We had the most incredible experience with our wedding at the Franklin of Soulard! With a top notch crew, Christina and Danny are an absolute delight to work with, and were such a kind, welcoming, and professional presence throughout the entire wedding planning process. Cate, Nichole, and Emily guided us through every step of the journey with helpful advice, all while listening to our desires and making them come true! Truly, we couldn't ask for a better experience with the team at the Franklin. No detail was missed, and the wedding day went off without a hitch due to their professional diligence in creative a positive, joyful, and FUN atmosphere! Not only is the venue itself stunning, but Danny, Christina, and their team is what really seals the deal. From the moment we first inquired, we were immediately put at ease from the professionalism, kindness, and passion Christina and Danny have for their work. We felt supported throughout the entire process, received immediate answers to anything we had questions about, and are so honored to have been able to experience the magic of the space Christina and Danny have created. The bridal suite is a beautiful space and such a perk to be able to get ready in, the food was delicious, the entire staff was friendly and kind, and I feel like I need to pull out a thesaurus to find more nice words to say about the Franklin! We'd do it all over again in a heartbeat and grateful doesn't even begin to cover how we feel. Thank you a million!!!

We got married just over a week ago at the Franklin after booking nearly 2 years ahead of time and genuinely can not say enough about how amazing this venue, management, and staff were. When we met Christina and Danny on our tour we pretty much knew immediately that the Franklin was perfect for our wedding day not only because the venue is absolutely stunning (which it 100% is) but also because of how much Christina and Danny cared about their work and making our day special. Leading up to our wedding we had our tasting which was so much fun and felt like an event in itself, we worked with Cate and Emily (members of the Franklin management team) on our final details which made the day go so smoothly, had our decoration set up (they were so accommodating with time and giving us access to anything we needed, it made everything so easy), and lastly our rehearsal which Emily helped lead, and with her guidance we were in and out in no time with all of the knowledge and practice we needed for the big day!
And as if all of that wasn’t amazing our wedding day was so perfect largely because of how much work the Franklin team put in for us. They helped us with anything we asked and worked with our vendors beautifully. The food was fantastic, Emily helped with day of coordination and was flawless, and the rest of the team was onsite almost the whole day. Our guests (and us of course) were so blown away by the venue and the team. If you have a wedding coming up PLEASE check out this venue and meet their team you will not regret it!

The Franklin was SUCH a good venue to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were helpful from the beginning, with answering my MANY questions, being open and honest with their policies, but still being extremely flexible and willing to work with whatever my vision was. They were extremely organized, and helped me from day 1 on every single detail with the wedding. They were more than a venue coordinator: they are a wedding coordinator. They helped me with everything: coordinating outside vendors, running the ceremony, timeline building, etc. They were knowledgeable about vendors to suggest when I didn’t have one, and were there to make it the best day. The ability to set up the venue a couple days prior and tear down the next day was also HUGE in being able to enjoy the actual wedding day, and not worry about packing up same night, or having a family member have to set up decorations a couple hours beforehand. The food was also amazing, and will be thinking about the honey roasted carrots for a couple weeks. I could not recommend them as a wedding venue enough.

We got married 11/16/24 and the Franklin went above and beyond to make our day so special. Along with our wedding it was also my birthday. The entire planning process was seamless and easy with Christina, Dan and their entire team. The venue is timeless and great for large and small weddings. We had close to 300 and it was great. The food was AMAZING (not your typically wedding food), apps were incredible and our guest are still raving about it. From the small touches, to the big moments, they were there through it all. Emily, was always there with food or a drink for my husband or I and we absolutely loved it. They really let you have your own personally touch with a Franklin spin. The bridal get ready room as 10/10 and was perfect for my bridal party in the fact that we did not have to carry our things every where. We just stayed in one place which was so nice. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, please look no further. THE FRANKLIN IS IT!!!!!!!!! Thank you guys for everything, the Franklin will always hold a place in our hearts.

The food was not good. It was very reasonable priced. Menu was herb crusted chicken cold dry, broccoli hard and cold. DELICIOUS Ravioli good rolls not enough at table and the gooyee butter was the worst I had. Nice large place for a venue.

While we didn’t have our event at The Franklin, they were able to provide off-site catering for my birthday party. The food was delicious, plentiful and presented nicely. Christina was attentive and helpful before and throughout the event. She was also the coordinator at the event space we had our wedding a few years ago, so we knew we would be in good hands. She is extremely organized and communicates well, making event planning less stressful. She is genuinely excited for you and whatever it is you’re celebrating and I highly recommend working with her!
