The Icon is an apartment complex that is amazing for college students living around the area. I personally have had wonderful interactions with the management. The icon management are very accommodating, kind hearted, and actually listen to any issues you may have while living there. On top of all of that, they are very affordable in the midtown area, especially for college students. I would highly recommend leasing for the icon and consider all they have to offer!

The only reason people live in this apartment is that it’s close to SLU & Harris Stowe and they have no car and no choice.
At first rent used to be all-inclusive of utilities but they took that off last summer so now ..THERE’S NO REASON YOU SHOULD LIVE HERE. Unless you like to suffer!
Don’t be deceived by any 5 star reviews you see that’s not up-to 8months, they are all lying about the quality of this apartment.
I regret signing my lease for another year! I had no choice because I don’t drive.
Trust me, this place is not good..health wise and social wise. You gain nothing from living in this apartment. Gym is below average, environments are dirty & unkept, trash is overflowing, gnats/cockroaches all over the apartment, management is changed every year, worse part?
THERE NO WINDOWS IN THE ROOMS! &
THE HEATING DOESN’T WORK IN WINTER!
And there’s nothing they can do about it because the building is structured in such a way that the furnace is at the back & wasn’t built properly.
I spent December/January the coldest weeks of winter freezing in my apartment!
If you’ve have breathing or respiratory issues, this is not the place for you! You’ll sleep in your room every night uncomfortable thinking you might choke to death!!
The new management have limited office hours to weekdays only, making them unreachable & limited access.
Before I signed my lease, they never showed me my apartment, if not I wouldn’t have lived here. I was made to pay full months rent in September after signing my lease in ending of August
Management is shady & dishonest! They’ve changed management thrice within 2years. This current one at first came off as insensitive & rigid, but I can’t say much about them.
With these few points of mine, if you lease this apartment, you’ll regret it. If you’re currently leasing and you let them influence you into resigning your lease you’re even more stupid.
There are so many other options, you just have to be open to finding them & taking the risk of leaving your comfort zone.
Thank you.

Moved in last month. It becomes easier every day to look past the streets rife with homeless, and the murders at Grand Transit Center. It's another thing entirely to violate search and seizure of tenants regularly. This is a old fancy dorm room slash mid-eastern nasty smell cook-off all the time. And management just barges into to my apartment day after day to check cleanliness stuff. Met regional management yesterday during one such attempt. Oh boy, I'm getting outta here asap.

Its more than 4 months that we are living here, we frequently requested for the new mattresses for our beds but no body cares!
we requested for new carpet, but stil nothing!
we had an issue with our noisy neighbor, I requested of the manager to solve the issue, but again, no body cares!

I was searching for an apartment in the city, and I have to say, they have the most beautiful apartments for this price. Moreover, having Chipotle and Starbucks within walking distance is a big plus! I highly recommend Johnnie and Shy. They are so helpful and always support their residents with any issues.

I see a lot of negative reviews, but I’ve had a really nice experience at icon since I’ve moved here 3 months ago for my masters program. It’s close to campus and super convenient, with a workout facility. Management has been helpful for me. Is recommend it honestly.

Don't move in here. One star rating is one star too many for this place. Management isn't transparent with utility billing, it is unsafe and gets dirty. It's not worth the hassle when there are cheaper alternatives!

I am re-signing my lease with complete confidence, knowing that I am not just a resident, but a valued member of this wonderful community. Thank you to the entire team for making The Icon Apartments a truly exceptional place to call home.
