This is by far the worst post office in the St. Louis area. You are lucky if you have more than one person working the counter. I have prepaid Ebay shipping labels that every other post office allows you to drop off on the far counter. This post office interrogates you for just dropping off. Last two times I waited over 30 minutes to drop off a prepaid package and then insisted they needed to know what was in the box. Are you kidding me? If I could fit it in the parcel cylinder would it ask me what it was? The lady on the end acts like she gets a commission on receipts. I DON'T NEED A RECEIPT! Please let me just drop it off. With over 5000 Ebay shipments I know how it works.

This place is awful. The woman who worked on 3/29/25 at 11:00 am (AA) had the worst attitude. I don’t know her name, but she has curly hair. This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with her, and I’m fed up with her attitude, which is why I’m leaving this review.

Horrible service !! Been making passport apportionment for weeks, they call back the same day saying the clerk had an emergency! Wet un reliable and unprofessional

It is ridiculous how long this location takes to deliver a package. The package sits at this location for 3-4 days before it is delivered. Why? If you’re short of staff, hire people, USPS. People need jobs and are willing to work.

One of the mail delivery drivers will not get out of his truck to deliver mail. If our car is too close to the mailbox he will skip our mail for the day just because he doesn’t want to get out and walk up to our mailbox.

Ordered bed sheet, said they couldn’t deliver them and to schedule a re deliver. So I made it for the next day . I get a notification at 9am saying they tried to deliver but couldn’t. I was home nobody came to my house. And of course no one ever knows ANYTHING. This is the second time this has happened

So the post office on new halls ferry canceled my passport appointment 30 mins before my scheduled time. Came to this location because online it said walk ins from 9:30-10:30. Had been standing in line for about 20mins because it was only one worker. And she was so sweet and doing a good job. Then another worker comes in asking about passports. So I told her why I was there and she proceeds to tell me well it’s 2 appointments ahead of you so we can’t do you. Like what’s the purpose of walk in if you can’t do them. Y’all need to just have appointments only. My kids missed school because I scheduled A appointment. Smh. I understand the appointments was scheduled but if it’s walk in then we should have been able to still be seen. Gotta do better just don’t do walk ins. It’s that simple

I had a package delivered to this location that was to be transferred to the Ferguson Post Office. It never made it. The shipper tracked the package location as Columbia Bottom Conservation Area, which is a lake. Must have fallen into the hands of a dishonest employee.
