This post office is always closed…It’s the only one within walking distance from my house!!! I walk all the way up there for it to be closed all the time…it’s 2pm on a Wednesday and they aren’t open….Where do I apply because obviously, they need more people!!!

Showed up at 9 AM today because, you know, they advertise on their website and on their door that they open at 9 AM. No one was there and the store was locked. I waited 10 minutes but I had to get to class so I left. After reading the other reviews, it seems like this it is commonplace for this branch to not be open during its listed hours.

The manager of this store is absolutely awful. I have never received such bad service! She should be fired.

Pulled up on a Friday to mail a book. The doors were locked. I read a sign that says closed for lunch 1-2pm ... it is 2:30. Unacceptable.

I have not received my STL Post Dispatch newspaper on time since December 8th. I’ve called my local post office 3 times and the Post Dispatch dozens of times and no one has an answer or is willing to help. Covid is not an excuse because I received it daily prior to December 8th. In addition, you should have figured out by now how to deliver on time since we’ve been in Covid for over a year and you must have learned how to adjust by now.

So.....my package takes 2 days to get from Springfield Missouri to St. Louis........then my package sits in St. Louis from December 27 to today January 4 without movement!!!!!!! Truthfully the Pony Express would be better than the St Louis Postal Service, at least quicker!!!!!! Useless and lethargic actions time and time again, if they worked anywhere else they're incompetence would get them fired!!!!!......apparently no one in the USPS cares about the taxpayers who pay they're salaries!!

I’ve walked down here on more than one occasion snd found the place to be closed during normal business hours. After knocking and waiting outside only to find out no on is going to open, I’ve ended up at the main post office. If the Post Office isn’t going to open these door, then scuttle this branch altogether, it is a waste of taxpayers money.

1140 Olive St. location lacks customer focused services. Some workers are rude and rush customers out. Building address is not visible due to boarding placed on the building long past necessity. Delivery providers cannot see the address to make deliveries.

This particular package was mailed to me priority mail on Oct 8 and received on the 16th. The value worth is $30 the insurance it’s $100. Written all over the package live animal. This box was abused smashed torn crumbled. Even the delivery driver said it went through a lot. Took pictures of outside and inside a box. Filed a claim the next day including 8 pictures of the priority box showing in large print Live animal. Accounts payable branch replied with the letter to submit the evidence to a post office for inspection. I did just that. Making a copy and taping it to the outside of the box. The Post Office on Kingsley in Orange Park Florida excepted the box without any hesitation. But yet 3 days later it showed up on my doorstep not even opened stating return. I then called the headquarters in Washington DC. Spoke with a gentleman (withheld) Whom stated; The post office should had filled out a form #2856 and should of handed me a damage receipt #3831. I stated this was not my first time. I have a case open still from July. And another from April they just closed. I stated Evidence, pictures and letters are being rejected because they were not aware of what you just stated. I asked DC if he was going to make a note in my file. He stated “Gave the customer information on his next step.” I asked “nothing else”? DC stated “that is your next step. Do not mail it. If there isn’t anything else have a good day goodbye.”

Rude. Was cut off before I even got my question out. There was no, is there anything else I can help you with? It was a simple you’ll have to call this company and contact them. Then click.Ups and fedex don’t treat you like this AND they offer printing and taping service. What would I need to go to a usps again for if I’m going to be treated like this? IDK.

Very rude employee. Lady working there needs to have some patience and answer people’s questions like a normal human being not some uncultured, inconvenienced smug. If you can’t answer people’s questions without an attitude, you need a different job.

Mail does not get delivered everyday day like it should. Like today....our office did not rec. mail yesterday. There is about once a week where we don't rec. our mail. I called the main 1-888 number 3 times. I was given a case number, no one contacted me. I was given the number to the post office to talk to manager......no one answers the phones....they just ring and ring and have no Voice Mail. The one time I did get through....I was told I had the wrong post office and that they didn't have the number to the correct post office. So it is what it is I guess. It stinks because someone's medication had to be delivered yesterday and we never got mail yesterday.

The downtown Post Office (on Market Street) has a very helpful and friendly staff. Efficient and courteous! Unlike the Richmond Heights and Clayton locations!
