I am completely frustrated with the failures that continue with the United States Postal system. How is it that your 2-3 day Priority Package arrives to its destination and then leaves the destination only to arrive back at its destination a week later? Make it make sense!! No wonder there are ongoing attempts to Privatize the US Postal system because apparently this organization has failed just like the rest of the government

Consent lost packages, late packages, held packages you name it. Day 3 of my package sitting in the sorting center even though it came from a California sorting center to St. Louis in one day. This place needs to be closed it’s pathetic

I’m beyond frustrated with how USPS is handling my packages. I mailed one package to the East Coast—only to track it and see it take a scenic route all the way to the West Coast first! Meanwhile, a different package meant for the West Coast somehow got shipped to the East Coast instead. How does that even happen? This back-and-forth detour is causing major delays, and if affects my small business directly with delivery times taking twice as long as they should. What is going on with the sorting center in St. Louis? This is not the first time I’ve seen bizarre routing from there. USPS really needs to figure this out—customers shouldn’t have to deal with this kind of inefficient chaos.

This is really hard to deal with, and I know it isn't the fault of the employees in our local post office, but still. In the past three weeks, I have received mail on three days. That's it. I normally get mail every day. Mostly junk mail, but something every day. And from Memorial weekend until now, June 18, I have received three days' worth of mail. Nothing that SHOULD have been delivered, like a check for contract work that was mailed on May 24. I am so sick of this. They have successfully destroyed our postal service under DeJoy - now they will try to privatize instead of fixing it, and we'll all have to pay to receive anything.

I need my passport, it's been stuck there longer than at any other center, my passport has been in and out of the facilities within 5 hours (unless it arrives past 7:30 pm cst) and it's been there since 7 this morning, this is the 3rd time I've called USPS and they can't give us any updates as they aren't the distribution center that has it

Having experienced many packages this year this DC is by far the slowest. Not sure if they see California and just take their time but I’ve had packages sit in this “distribution” center for 2 weeks.
Show me better St. Louis USPS.

Thieves. Packages gets routed here and some how magically disappear.
You can tell the driver is sometimes responsible . The package leaves its distribution center, just to return right back. This is thieves working in a network. But they are not being looked at properly.

I've been a customer of st louis post offices my whole life. The last several years have been awful, my packages are lost regularly, they are late every single time, as in NEVER ON TIME. Not even once. Right now I have 3 packages that are weeks late and are still bouncing around the country due to the incompetence of USPS, particularly st louis branch. This is causing me to avoid shopping online or in any way that might require a package to be mailed via USPS. EDIT MAY 2025 - STILL CANNOT DELIVER PACKAGES ON TIME. HAVE PACKAGES RIGHT NOW THAT WERE ALREADY AT THE ST LOUIS BRANCH WHO THEN SENT THEM TRAVELING AROUND THE COUNTRY FOR LITERALLY NO REASON OTHER THAN INCOMPETENCE 😡😡😡

Just adding to the pile because this should not have anything higher than 1.0 stars. In the last month I have had two separate orders go through here and mysteriously disappear. One still has tracking from 4/18 lying to me saying “your package is arriving later than expected but is still on its way” after it fell into this black hole of a distribution center on 4/14. I now have another one from a different seller that’s meeting the same fate as of 5/20. Unfortunately that seller seems pretty new to his job despite living so close to this place, because he swears it isn’t lost even though it’s been supposedly sitting in this building for the last week. I imagine the employees at this distribution center either straight up don’t do their jobs or steal your packages if they suspect there’s anything valuable inside, considering I’m 2/2 on packages going missing here.
This is what you get when you vote for Republicans who keep defunding the USPS so that you guarantee only the most bottom of the barrel people are willing to work at such an understaffed and underpaid job.

Every time my packages pass through St. Louis, they are delayed by 3–4 days minimum even with priority mail fee for over 100 bucks. This is clearly a known and ongoing issue, yet nothing seems to be improved. USPS needs to seriously address the staffing, management, and scanning problems at this facility.
