Love the pharmacists and techs. Why is the store closed more than the posted business hours?

The inside has been inexplicably "temporarily closed", but they said the RX drive thru was open. Pulled up yesterday and found a mouse chilling on the counter by the window with no pharmacist in sight. I'm guessing the infestation is why the inside has been closed ??.

Ordered a refill for my meds via phone. Confirmed, got a pick up time for the next day. I go to pick it up, they tell me no we don’t have that and asked if I called it in. I explained yes, I called the day before. The worker told me it didn’t go through. Girl it was a call????? I got a confirmation and everything?? This is not a one off either, this is a routine occurrence. I moved my meds to CVS down the street but had a few refills left here. Since it wasn’t ready yesterday, I painfully dragged my disease-ridden body out of the house to go pick them up today. Google confirmed that yes their hours show they’re open today. I got there to see all the lights out and a sign in the window that said no pharmacist on duty. At this point, I could get my meds easier from a street dealer than this place. Every time I go back to them they manage to be worse than the last time I went there. When I drive by this place I am filled with rage. Never once have I actually had a good experience here. Once, they held my medication hostage because there was an interaction between two drugs I was on, as though my doctor wouldn’t know about this interaction. They act like it’s my fault when their system screws up and that I am imposing on their time by coming to pick up medication I got confirmation would be ready. I truly don’t understand how a pharmacy can be this bad. Like just don’t go here. If you have prescriptions here MOVE THEM. I have never written a review in my life but I have also never been to a business that is so bad at doing what they are there to do. I hate this place so much please just go somewhere else.

Horrible pharmacy, pharmacist YELLED at my wife because their system screwed up. Didn't explain, didn't speak, YELLED AND BELITTLED her for not noticing that their system failed to send her a notice.Get your prescriptions sent elsewhere, drive them out of business, let a CVS move in. Worthless.

This store needs to do better. The shelves are bare no matter when I go which means I can never buy things that are on sale. Most of the associates are definitely unfriendly. I avoid the pharmacy all together because everything the other reviews are saying is true.

Came in to grab a couple of quick items, as usual the first thing I notice is the smell of feces. I noticed that smell a couple of times before and saw the staff cleaned up a bit but it has not gone anywhere. It is still filthy and smelly everywhere in the store. The shelves are empty and the check out clerk was super rude. I said hello, he said nothing, then he checked out the items for me, I said thank you and he said nothing and not even look at my face or anything.I only come here because it is convenient but after several bad experiences, I will never go back. I am surprised the store is open given the situation of filthiness and the mice!

No carts for over 2 years. Empty shelves. Employees standing at registers are to busy on their phones to wait on customers . Mice droppings n half chewed candy bars on shelves. DISGUSTING..This store needs to be closed n cleaned up. The trouble with the pharmacy is another Big Issue...

I was just there to get a prescription and the store is a disgusting mess. Empty shelves, which I kind of understand given all the dead mice, horrendous amounts of mouse poop and traps lining the wall. I have had horrible experiences with Carl from pharmacy in the past as well. This is a public safety issue now. You guys need to close this location. Immediately.

I came in yesterday to pick up a photo order and was shocked to see how dirty the store was. I had my newborn with me in her infant car seat and despite the long wait while I waited for someone to find my photo order, I did not feel comfortable setting her down due to the significant amount of visible dirt and grime on the floor and surrounding surfaces. Despite this Walgreens being the closest pharmacy to my house, I likely will not return.

Terrible pharmacy. Worst I’ve ever been to. Not even worth 1 star.

DO NOT GO HERE. I just reported this to DHSS. The Walgreens located at McCausland and Manchester (2310 McCausland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63143) has mice and mice feces all over the store. I was there 12/03/2023 at 4:45pm and saw a mouse literally cross my path to go into an aisles shelves - after that, knowing what their feces and sounds are I saw an enormous amount throughout the store and also heard the mice. This is absolutely repulsive.

It was late night and the staff showed it. Example: security guard was snoring in his chair near the door.

I was at this location yesterday for my Covid vaccine. Despite the entire store being understaffed--an issue for management, not the staff--I give the staff 5 stars for their professionali. Everyone I interacted was polite, kind and informative. The pharmacy staffer who took my information was friendly and let me know up front the wait time I could expect. The pharmacist, who was working alone, provided the vaccine at the exact time I expected. The pharmacist was friendly and calm, even with all the demands of filling prescriptions and answering patient questions from those in the drive through line, on the phone and at the counter. He did not rush the process and was willing to answer all questions. Walgreen's is lucky to have such reliable and conscientious staff. My hope is that all of us can be more patient with those who serve us--it can't be easy when so many of us are in such a rush and so centered on ourselves.

I'm not sure how the pharmacy manager keeps her job. She is rude, condescending and lazy. I was missing one of my prescriptions that I ordered through the app. I have 10 prescriptions. I asked her to look up which other one was due to be refilled and she refused . She said I had to tell her and she can't just be ordering prescriptions "willy nilly". The pharmacist backed her up! He said because people have prescriptions due to be refilled and they don't really need them. What?! I had to go home, figure out which one it was, and go back. It wouldn't let me order it through the app because there was an "issue". When I told her that she just looked at me with a blank stare and said "do you want it?". I have a friend who is the pharmacist at a different Walgreens and she said everyone complains about the service at this one. If it is widely known then fix it.

The pharmacist Carl needs to work on professional etiquette as it applies to all customers. I made an appointment for a vaccination, I get businesses are understaffed so I had no problem coming back when he asked me to because he stated someone was going to come in at 11am and he was working alone. He seemed overwhelmed as evident by him saying "I can't do everything." He was clearly flustered and frustrated about working alone. I came back and he was still alone. He told me it would be a wait and I said that was fine. In between I watched his interaction with others and how he immediately called another Walgreens for a customer. He worked the pharmacy, window and register and attempted to wait on someone else who came in behind me. Even that man said "no she was here before me." When it was time for my vaccination, I asked to see the syringe I wanted to ensure it was the vaccination I was there for. He sat back and said "look if you don't want to get the vaccination by me that's fine by me." I thought are you kidding most places welcome this practice but regardless I insisted on seeing it. I stated, "it's standard practice to ensure this, that you're getting the correct vaccination." His response was hostile, offense and reeked of him believing he is beyond reproach. He's running around and he too could make a mistake. This attitude is unacceptable. Moreover, why would he even state, "that's fine by me." I don't know this man personally, this was a business transaction, in which he seemed confused and emotionally attached to just providing the service. Very strange.
