WOW! WOW! WOW! What is going on with my neighborhood Walgreens @ Macausland and Manchester?? I've always loved the friendly associates and customer service. I've lived in the neighborhood for 30 years. But it seems in the past several months things have changed. The pharmacy techs...wow. They have nasty, rude attitudes. I rarely pick up my medicine or call to talk to the pharmacy, but the few times I've done either I get the same nasty attitudes. I may as well add that when i DO call, i get put on hold and forgotten..then when the call rings them back, it rings about 40 times or they just pick up and hang up. Im going to assume that Walgreens was desperate for help and had to hire whomever applied. Geez Walgreens, maybe have a customer service class/phone and drive thru etiquette class for them all. I should add that the pharmacist, Carl, is a gem. Corporate needs to help this pharmacy though.

I went around 6 or 7 PM to print a passport photo from my phone. I have used this same copy before as it is correct format I just needed more copies for extra documents. Anyway, I go in and I understand that they are short staffed. However, when I finally get help at photo station I explain I need to print off a photo (passport size). The staff member then proceeds to tell me he doesn't feel comfortable doing so and he won't authorize the machine to print passport photo. I was baffled and said I really need these passport photos printed today. He said, "I know I'm making lame excuse but I'm not comfortable printing that for you." I go to another nearby Walgreens and had no problems. They printed off the passport photos from my phone and I was out in less than 30 mixtures.

It isn't as bad as the reviews say. Pharmacy folks are always helpful and informative. People take things out on them too much.

Pharmacy staff was very rude and disrespectful. You are dealing with people who are stressed out/anxious and a little kindness/people skills would go a long way.

The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Rude pharmacy techs, filled a partial script when being fully aware that the patient would not be able to pick up the other half due to regulations. They proceeded to laugh at the patients situation when on the phone with me. As a health care provider I will encourage my patients to use another pharmacy. Do better!
