Lost a blouse of mine and absolutely refuses to acknowledge it. I spoke to the owner, explained the situation and that the blouse is no longer worth anything but it is a favorite and I would like it back if it gets returned by whoever got my blouse by accident. I think I was pretty reasonable. As I was leaving, the owner stopped me to implore me that he works his axx off, that he didn’t appreciate me disrespecting him and that he didn’t “steal” my shirt. O-Kayeee. I will probably be finding a new dry cleaner—and always take pics of the items I drop off. Admittedly, I had gotten lax about that. I do need to note though that another blouse (same order) was ripped by the cleaners and the owner did have it repaired, which I do appreciate.

I’m floored by the ownerships sheer lack of professionalism and care for their customers. After visiting every single location as I’ve moved around STL and spending at least $100+ per week, I get yelled at and hung up on when asking to be reimbursed for a pair of lost pants. Someone else called back shortly after and asked I look on same hangar under the scarves I picked up same day & there they were. I apologized for not seeing them as I had gone through everything multiple times, but had not looked under the scarves. My fault completely to that extent. Please be kind in others absence everyone these are tuff times for all.

They lost my suit. I don’t live in an area with a cleaners so was hoping to have it done a few days before my brother’s wedding. I live out of state so store credit does me no good. I highly recommend going to Personal Touch Cleaners. They are literally directly across the road. There’s no excuse not to go there instead.

I recently took a pair of pants to Westway Des Peres for a minor repair. The pants were $140 from J.Crew and I had only worn them twice. After 6 weeks had gone by and I had not heard from someone, I went in to check on them. I was informed that the pants were not there and one of the employees said she would have to call around to the other locations looking for them. I never heard back from her so I went in a second time and only then did they let me know that the pants were lost. They said that they could give me a store credit. I told them that I wanted to be reimbursed for the pants because they were essentially brand new. I even had the link to J.Crew's website showing the current selling price. I was told that "their policy was posted around the store" and that they would not be making any accommodations. I have been a customer of Westway for many years and was very disappointed at how this was handled. Every employee and the owner herself were incredibly rude. I will NEVER go back.

Brought in a suit that had a stain on it & they bleached my tan suit that is a designer suit! Ask to discuss reimbursement to the management & owner & they were amount the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. They made me feel like this was somehow my fault! I ended-up taking my suit to a different cleaners to fix what they did. After reading some of the other reviews, I would choose wisely...not a good choice of staff or service in my opinion.

We took three sets of Pleated Drapes to Westway on Manchester, my wife asked them if they had a coupon for drapes and asked them if the number of pleats mattered, the person on the phone said no. One of our set of drapes were silk drapes, Westward cleaned them and pressed all the drapes FLAT no pleats. I called and spoke with Patty, all she could say was that they don't do the pleats, that they have not done the pleats for a long time and the coupon does not say pleated on it. I told them our drapes are ruined and we should not have to pay for services that ruined our drapes. I called and spoke with the owner, she had no remorse, said they did everything right and no one pleats drapes anymore and they should be paid for their services because the services were already discounted by the coupon and it was our responsibility to ask if they press pleated drapes the correct way. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH OUR DRAPES BEFORE, I will NEVER take anything else to this cleaner again, any REPUTABLE cleaner would make amends to keep a customer (we have tons of stuff dry cleaned) and/or have a sign in their drop off area that clearly states we do not press cleats back into pleated drapes or something. We just do not want anyone else in our community to have to go through this, three sets of drapes ruined, we are probably out $500 or so and are still expected to pay them for priviledge of ruining our drapes on top of it. No remorse or sorry we ruined your drapes (they still contend they are not ruined, wonder if they would hang these drapes in their house now?), BRUTAL, never ever go there!!! I cannot remember the last time I raised my voice on a phone call, but I did when I called the owner back, she does not get customer service and the services offered by this cleaner are bad. I apologize, you should not yell at people over the phone, but these folks would test anyones patience. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Good luck with your dry cleaning needs!
