The customer service was really disastrous! They do not explain absolutely anything to you regarding the amounts of money they retain or the final amount you will pay! I had to literally pressure the seller to explain how the charges work, even though it was not clear and I had to figure it out myself. The staff does not know how to handle the customer, they were absolutely informal and uninterested in doing their job. I'm so sorry for Budget but next time I'll go somewhere else!

Rented a vehicle from this location. They gave us the vehicle with only 1/2 tank of gas. We returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas and spotless (we even vacuumed). They still charged us $200 for a cleaning fee. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. THEY ARE THIEVES!!

They charged me a $300 cleaning fee for a pet that I never had in the car. They never answer the phone. When you go in to get assistance they tell you to call customer service.Take pictures before you leave the lot or they will screw you.

Picked up minivan this morning in St. Peters MO Smells like someone has been smoking in it. On a time constrainr so didn't have time to take it back. Have tried to call Budget twice to report so we're not assessed a fee Always put on hold for over 20 minutes total. Windshield dirty with bugs. Booked through Costco. Very disappounted.

I did not like the car was dirty inside and out also they took/held funds of mine that where not released back to my account. But the guy that checked me in and out was nice.

Horrible location. I would not rent from them. Gave away my rental because I didn’t show up right at pick up time (which they chose, not me). Then the car they did give me had been smoked in. I asked for another car and was told to drive down to the airport to see if they could exchange. Manager was not friendly or helpful. Terrible customer service from her. I would chose any location but this one.they also over charged me and still haven’t corrected my bill.

Rented a voyager to drive to Florida. It had expired tags, passenger sliding door would not work, and had a leak in the tire that we had to air up every couple of hours.We asked them about the expired tags before we left and they said if we get pulled over...we won't get a ticket. Like that helps!When we returned the van all they could say was sorry. No credit given.I won't use them again.

The lady was extremely rude and they didn't have the car I reserved over a month ago she tried switching me to a van for an extra $200 then wouldn't accept my debt card. I DO NOT recommend going here they are extremely unprofessional and will not help you.

Wish I could give a 0!!! Completely unhelpful! Reserved a car months ago and went to pick it up and was told they haven’t had that car in months. Was never notified about this situation and the woman at the counter was not helpful or friendly. Came in at 9am and they open at 7. They could have at least called.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I reserved online and pre-paid and did an early check-in yet when I arrived due to not having a major credit card I was not able to pick up my rental. On top of that as soon as I walked in I was not greeted at all by the lady behind the counter, I had to say hello I’m here for my rental. Then as she proceeds to tell me because I don’t have a credit card I can’t get the rental I tell her I want my money back today that they didn’t have a problem taking when I reserved it, and she rudely walks away to the back of the store texting on her phone. The customer service at this St. Peter’s location was horrible. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

Rented prepaid online in advance so I could get the vehicle I wanted with GPS & satellite radio. We arrived & were told those options are never available & weren't on our vehicle even though I had already been charged. Told call customer service. Get car & pull out of the lot & head home. Realize the check engine light is on & figure I have to call customer service any way so I'll see what they are going to do. Call customer service and was told the location can turn on GPS& satellite. Explained I was told this is not the case at the location & was transferred where it was 15-20 minute wait. Get the call back & am told they don't see a charge for the GPS & Satellite radio so call back in a few days after the rental agreement closes. Why should you hold my money?? Ask about the check engine light and I'm told to call other local Avis locations to see if they can match my rental and exchange. Again I made a reservation why is the car covered in road dirt, have a check engine light on, not have options I paid for? Now as I'm preparing for a trip I'm supposed to chase down the vehicle I requested? I don't think so. Told them I was over the whole thing and was told I could return the car. Take it back to have the woman at the counter act like the light was no big deal and argue a bit before closing the rental. I was told the receipt would come by e-mail. I get the receipt & was charged $150 for the waste of my time & energy. I'm challenging the charge through my credit card. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT USE AVIS EVER!!

Absolutely the BEST place to rent your car! The staff is the friendliest around, I always leave with a smile on my face! Their facility is always very neat and clean and the cars are detailed like they should be in a showroom! Amanda takes care of everyone who walks through that door!

Like so many other reviewers here I was left in a complete lurch by this Budget/Avis location. Utterly incompetent and uncaring employees….divorced from both reality and the company’s own corporate reservation system. If you actually want to drive away in a rental car, stay far away from this place.Head on over to the closest Hertz…the manager Debbie there went out of her way to help me.
