“I have been coming here to donate blood and platelets for years now. It’s always a good time. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. I feel appreciated every time I come in.”

“Imagine you got rid of the leftover building materials around your house from previous projects--mismatched lumber, flooring, wallboard--plus items you've replaced but haven't scrapped such as beds, cabinets, doors, lighting. Throw in old power tools, household decor, a sink, an odd bicycle or two. Now imagine your whole neighborhood did the same thing. This store looks like all that junk ended up here. Items are departmentalized for easier search but nothing looked new in my visit. Some items were extremely used. I browsed as a first-timer, but then remembered I needed to replace a 1/4", 12mm socket. Despite several dozen loose sockets I didn't find the one I needed. I'll have to come back.”

“It's great for what it is. Resale shops are always hit and miss. No different here. They get a good selection of gallon and 5 gallon paints in pretty often at good prices 5 or 10 for gallon 40 for 5 gal. Have a selection of flooring, but it goes quickly. Doors are pretty good, as is the light and fan fixtures. Staff is helpful, and cashiers are friendly and quick. So, if you don't mind a little bit of odds playing stop in, they get really good stuff, just not enough of it as often as we like.”

“When me and my husband arrived at Fish for our 1st time I was very nervous, and a lil embarrassed. We have been struggling since covid hit us and can't seem to get ahead. We have been going to food pantries and had to ask for help to pay our utilities bc we both lost our jobs due to the pandemic. But the people at Fish welcomed us and reassured us that asking for help was a courageous decision. We are very grateful to have such an heart warming organization to help us in our time of struggle. Thank you and GOD bless”

“I had the opportunity to work one on one with community living for a family member that was in need of assistance for a child with a developmental disability. The team at community living gave us tours of all their facilities, walked us through their recreational programs, their job placement programs and additional programs they offer for families supporting these individuals. I have nothing but the highest respect for community living if you find yourself looking for aid for anybody in your family or community that has a developmental disability, I would recommend reaching out to community living.”

“The St. Charles Regional Chamber definitely believes in supporting and strengthening small businesses such as mine. I have only been a member for a few weeks, but already I've had the opportunity to network, build relationships, and grow my new business. Everyone from the members to the staff have gone above and beyond to make me feel very welcomed. I am so glad I joined!”
