took my car in to get a patch for a nail in my tire. I told them exactly which tire. So why do I look and they have 4 of my tires off? Told me I needed two new tires and brakes. My car is 4 years old and has less 30k miles. they are very predatory

Just needed an omission test. Dropped my car off and an hour later got a call that it was finished but was told that my axle needed to be replaced. Thankfully,I live with a mechanic so had a second opinion and there is nothing wrong. Be vigilant if you are a woman at Dobbs....they will try to get more money out of you. Get a second opinion.

I love Dobbs, this Mid river store is truly exceptional- they are very convenient and fairly quick when it comes to all car maintenance- they are much more convenient and also cheaper than any car dealership in the area. They also are much more experienced than a local garage mechanic that is booked out weeks in advance to diagnose a vehicle. I feel they are more professional than plaza tire all around.

2nd visit, definitely predatory, just get a second opinion on any repair you don’t know about. Same guy same story. The rest of the ppl who work there seem honest and they’re nice.Mgr Scott tried to sell me a front brake job with rotors bc he said you can’t change your brakes without changing the rotors. Why? They could make noise. (?) And he said my new tires need to be replaced because they were bald. Tried to sell me on wipers and filters and inspections. By the time he was done trying to sell me, I decided I’m not going to be the vulnerable woman and No more business from me even though his front office staff is really cool and the place is nice.

I've used Dobbs several times in the past, and have been overall pleased with their service, but today they lost a customer. I came in and asked for a simple favor. I needed a used old tire (one they've taken off a vehicle) to put in the back of my truck to haul a V8 engine with. The employee was quick to say they don't provide used tires like that. No effort to "go the extra length" to help out a potential customer with a non-routine request. That lack of customer service is disappointing. No worries. Discount Tire was happy to help me out and were much more friendly about the request.

Brian was outstanding and very helpful! I came in thinking I would need to replace a punctured tire. They were able to patch, repair, get me back on the road in 30 minutes and save me hundreds of dollars. Peace of mind!

Always find something wrong .. Cost me over $1200 getting my car inspected and then told me I needed brakes . Took it somewhere else and my brakes look great!

I had a small oil leak and my car was missing while accelerating on the highway. I thought the worse, transmission etc. Not only did this location take the time to find the actual cause, but saved me a ton of money. Turns out it only needed spark plugs and a gasket resealed for the oil. It’s hard to find an honest mechanic now days. Good to know we now have one to take our cars to.

Dropped my car off at 7:30. I called 6.5 hours later at 2pm to get an ETA on when it would be done. They hadn't even started on it. Clearly their business is thriving because their customer service was horrible from their speed of service to the way they communicate with customers. I picked my car up without having it serviced and am much happier to take my car to Firestone. Save yourself time and go to Firestone - I know I learned my lesson about Dobbs.

I took my car in to get the tires rotated, i picked it up like this!There is no explanation for the damage, all the employees seem to be covering for each other.They have no exterior cameras and no interior cameras besides the one in the lobby!!!Dobbs turned it over to insurance and said someone mustve tried to steal my car off the parking lot. There is no other damage to show a break in, and if someone took the time to break in and pull off my center caps wouldn't they have taken the center caps and left the mess from all the plastic bits? And nothing was stolen or gone through! A thief would've taken my radar detector, my wallet and other thingsLesson learned take a full video walk around of your car before dropping it at Dobbs

Well I spend about 2200.00with front end work and new tires for my truck so I called for a flat repair told me they can't get it in unless I leave it for the day told them I have wait for it only it's the only vehicle that I have and they still couldn't get me in so I called Child's tires I guess I'll start doing business with themI didn't need an appointment and they were so busy they still made time to do the flat repair thanks Dobbs
