BUYER BEWARE WHEN RENTING THROUGH UBER.
I had rented through Uber at a cheaper rate and ended up being over charged $200.00 + basically I was charged full price over $60 a day when it should have $30 something
My total should have been $260-$270 after taxes and fees but I was charged $476. I didn't question it at drop off because I thought that was the $200 deposit and that once they were able to fully look over the car. I would get my deposit back Well I never did get the credit. I did wait 30 days before reaching out because of holidays and weekends and life just got busy plus my bank is a little slow when it comes to credits or refunds. I reached out to them via email so I would have a paper trail. I emailed them 3x and They did not answer me for 3 weeks which was 2 days after I could of disputed with the bank. They refused to give me my money back even though I had proof of the over charge. I still haven't seen the $200 deposit credited to my account.
I'm still in the process with my bank but that's a another story in it's self.
I will also be filling a complaint with the BBB.

I was asked to meet here to facilitate my hail damage repair with Hail Medic. I had two small kids with me, and the place reeked of marijuana. They helped me quickly but did not disclose the amount of the “insurance” plan that they offer while you have the car, nor did they tell me I could just utilize my own car insurance during the rental period. The office was completely unhelpful in resolving the charge of 280$ that was incurred for insurance.

Inefficient & unresponsive. Made a reservation months in advance for a specific morning pickup time. My flight was delayed and I attempted to call the local number where the phone rang and rang with no answer after multiple attempts. Made it to the counter approx 4 hours late where I was told they had no cars and that I was late. Showed the agent my phone where it showed my attempt to call numerous times, but they literally had no cars left and rented them all. Do yourself favor and go to Avis on Mexico Road in St Peters, they’ll do a better job than this location.

We had it scheduled for a week and brought it a day early. Since they have weekly specials, they couldn't refund one day's worth because anything 5-7 days counts towards the weekly special. Just something to keep in mind when you're going through them. The customer service wouldn't answer the phone, and this location doesn't answer the phone that much either. However, they were able to refund some for some coverage that we got (after we got billed for the full amount and we came inside to dispute it), which is why I give them 3 stars. They are friendly, and the car was not bad, but I'm not sure we'll be coming back.

This is the worst place to rent a car and I’d know I’ve rented them several times here.
Never again. Paid in full in advance and went up here only to be surprised with an additional deposit I couldn’t pay, completely destroying our trip and wasting thousands of dollars in pre paid hotel fees.
Meanwhile they won’t let you use a split payment or a different card for the surprise deposit, and if you use a debit card it’s a huge deposit and a credit check. And if you want to use a family members card they’ll charge you extra for every day and that person has to be going on the trip.
On top of that if you want your money back you have to call some number on a pamphlet and wait half an hour on hold to see if they can even give you your money back.
When I called they gave me the run around and wouldn’t refund
My money. But the guy at the front desk said I could call and get my money back. That was a bald faced lie.
Never again! Never again!

Booked a car few weeks early and when we got there they said they didn't have a reservation but they Still took out a fee so booked again ,let's hope they have one for us today.

Rented the car I reserved, but gave me an upgrade. I thought filled the tank when returning my vehicle, but the pump must have cut off to soon. The vehicle disappeared before I could verify.

Easy to aren’t. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very quick in getting me to my rental car. Drop off process was a breeze and has no issues. The car was clean, full of fuel, and even was larger than I thought.

I rented the car for my son to drive home from Saint Peter, so that he could celebrate Christmas with our family. They were more than willing to take my money, but then would not give him the car when he showed up because he didn’t have my credit card physically in his hand. They also asked for an extra $200 at the time of the rental. Now they are saying it’s going to take 7 to 10 business days to refund my money. Huge scam, stay away!! Terrible company.

I don't understand the low ratings for this location. We had a very good experience here. First of all, their rates are much lower than Enterprise. I turned in my Enterprise rental and Ubered to Hertz.
Enterprise: dirty, rough-driving compact sedan for two days = $204 (including taxes and fees)
Hertz: Clean, smooth-riding mid-size SUV for four days: $146 (including taxes and fees)
Second, Ian was friendly and helpful while still being professional. He didn't bat an eye when I walked in with my biracial children. (My husband warned me that was a Missouri thing and I didn't believe him until we moved here and I've seen it for myself almost everywhere we go.) He talked to them and made them feel like they were as much a part of the rental process as I was. He was straight-forward and informative. Just an all-around decent human. Thank you!

My rental Tesla (from Hertz in St. Peters, Missouri) had not been taken through a car wash and was very dirty. The charge was at 68% instead of the 80% promised. Hertz charged me $67 to return it at noon instead of 10 a.m. And when I called the office, my calls were disconnected three times.
Also, when my plans changed, it was a nightmare getting my rental changed to a week later, then my credit card showed I was billed for both the canceled and new itinerary! I will never use Hertz again.
