I would like to sing high praises for Mexico Road Animal Hospital. I took my 18 year old Shnoodle in, as it was time for him to go to heaven and they were so loving and compassionate. The doctor who helped me, was so gentle and kind that it really did make the process easier for me.Thank you so much Mexico Road Animal Hospital. You will be my forever Vet.

I haven't been to the new location but went to the old location in St. Peters. While it wasn't the cleanest and most up-to-date especially by not taking anything but cash or check, it was worth it for the care and prices.
I love my current vet but since their prices continue to increase and are no longer affordable, I am going to go back to Mexico road animal hospital. Especially since they now take "cards", are closer to Wentzville now, are much, much, more reasonable than mu current vet and most importantly are caring to my babies!
It is disheartening that so many vets continually increase their prices and put a fee on everything when all you want to do is take care of your fur family member! With so many animals needing homes, we need vets to make care more affordable so that more fur babies can be adopted! ❤️

I can't speak to the receptionist at the new location BUT if it's the same lady from the old location, she is horrible!
Not only is it clear that she doesn't care for animals, it is even MORE obvious that she has no use for humans! I'm not sure if she has ever smiled! Luckily, I never took my furbabies to them for end-of-life or a serious illness because the last thing you want is ti be greeted by an unempathetic Vet Office worker!
With all of the poor reviews on here, I am surprised she is still there. Unless she is a family member???
Looking forward to going back!

Was early for appointment got right in and was weighed then Dr Kennedy came in discussed all my concerns and went over health plan. Got shots administered new appointment made and was out 10 minutes after appointment time. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you all!

Their office is clean and inviting. We were easily able to book an urgent appointment for our dog. The veterinarian was thorough and personable. Prices are reasonable. We highly recommend!

Our cat has been throwing up daily and can’t keep food down. They didn’t run any tests on her and claimed it wasn’t necessary. They spoke to us for about 5-10 minutes, gave her a shot and didn’t say what it was until after, then sent us away with a $65 bill for doing absolutely nothing. She’s still struggling to keep food down and we have no answers because nobody cared to give her a real check up.

I have been taking my dogs here for the past few years. All the staff is beyond helpful. They did move into a much bigger, easier to access building recently and the parking situation has gotten much better. My dogs do not mind coming into this place or being handled by any of the technicians and vets.

I’ve been using Mexico Road Animal Hospital for years and have always appreciated the excellent service they provide. The facility is very clean, well-organized, and Dr. Hoernig is both amazing and personable. Their services are also extremely affordable, which is a huge plus. My only concern is the customer service I’ve experienced at the front desk. On two occasions, I’ve encountered Stacey, and both times she came across as unfriendly. While I understand everyone can have an off day, her demeanor was consistently unwelcoming, which can take away from the excitement of visiting. That being said, the doctors and the rest of the staff are fantastic, and I wouldn’t let this discourage anyone from experiencing the great care this hospital provides.

I started using Mexico Road Animal Hospital this year due to them previously handling the care of the kitten I adopted. I was impressed with how beautiful and clean the building was. The Dr we saw was amazing and very personable. They are extremely affordable with their services as well. My ONLY complaint is that the front desk girl (I believe her name was Stacey) seemed miserable. She made it seem as if you walking in has ruined her entire day. She doesn’t smile, she greets you with a blank stare and says “how can I help you”. This was only my second experience with her but the last was the same too. Maybe she’s just an unhappy person. However it definitely rubs off on you as you walk in so excited and then get met with that. Don’t let her deter you though. The drs and everyone else were amazing.

Best Veterinary Services I've ever used for any of my fur babies. They answer questions and make sure you have an understanding of what they are doing/talking about. They don't try to break the bank like these other place.

My dogs, Ginger and Minnie are comfortable coming here. New location is great and the prices can't be beat! The docs are amazing. The staff is very kind.
