My wife and I took out a home equity loan just before the pandemic. Since her credit (at the time) was much better than mine, the loan is in her name. The way our household finances work, most of the time I make the payment. For national security reasons (or some bullshit policy) they cross out the balance on the receipt. It doesn't really endear me to the bank. It's apparent they don't know their customers. Today was special though. The man behind the counter couldn't seem to process that I was making a payment on a loan not in my name, even though I have the statement in my hand. Finally he processed my check then crossed out all the fields on the receipt (see below). All I can say is wow! How can anyone be so stupid? And I'm including your policy makers in that statement. I at least want a receipt showing that you received my money. May 29th 2.30pm. I will say I heard from the bank manager (and will up my rating to two stars from one) and I can fault her for the policy. I have policies in my business that sometimes I waive for the benefit of my client. The added photo is a tribute to the policy makers.

West community credit union was an awesome place to get my car loan, Angela. She was the greatest she helped me on every way that she could. She got my interests lower. We became good friends from over the telephone. Add recommend west community credit union to anyone. I give it a 5 star rating.

This has been my bank for over 10 years ever since they started changing everything this the worst and the new employees they hired are horrible especially the guy. I ordered checks no one mentioned they cost money if I knew they cost money I would have never ordered them. Hate this new system and hate the customer service.

This was our home town bank for 20+ years and it was awesome. Not sure what is going on but their service has dropped in the last 6 months and the drive through seems to be closed more than it is open and I have had fraud on my account 3 times in the past few months. Hope they can get back to the hometown bank they used to be.

This is personally not my bank I have a sister bank but can make deposits here. With that being said anytime and I mean anytime and every time I come I am treated so nicely! Everyone is so kind, patient and makes sure I am not needing help with any other transactions before I leave. It typically takes them longer for my deposits because it's not my bank. They still are patient! They also do events and they are loads of fun. The last one I attended had bounce houses, face painting and a balloon artist! If you're not banking with them, their service alone is phenomenal I can't imagine how much nicer you'd be treated actually banking with them!
