I have not ate here since 2002 I thought theu closed honestly. We had dinner here ot was so hood . Im glad I found themvsgsin i will be back soon. They have a big menue lots of choices!

I have long hair with curls. I went in to have my layers cut. Terry cut it for me. She combed through my curls and said she was cutting it dry. She then washed it and I let it air dry. It is the absolute most uneven layering I have ever had! I called her and tried explaining to her the unevenness. She instantly got offended and said I was insulting her. Her exact words were Jesus Christ, come in on Monday and I will fix it. This is absolutely some of the worst treatment I have ever had from a salon and very unprofessional. I myself have had my cosmetology license for almost 40 years. We all make mistakes. It would have been so much easier to acknowledge it and honor it.
I will try and post pictures and hopefully this won't happen anyone else.

Becky is very friendly and approachable. She listens to what I want and always takes her time,never feeling rushed. She is very skilled and I trust she will always do a great job!

I made a NEW appointment with SHEAR-LOCK COMBS WEST for a haircut and was offered Saturday, March 30 at 12:00pm. I received 2 reminders to confirm so I did. Today I get a TEXT from the owner, TERRY telling me to go elsewhere because they hold these spots for “CURRENT CLIENTS “ before a holiday.
Ok, I understand that but why book me in the first place? I’ve had this booked for 4 days and now you have an issue?? And in my opinion if you are a respectful business why not CALL me and apologize and see if there is another day you can work me in? How do you run a business like this??
I AM CRUSHED at how I was treated.
I’ll also be posting on social media! Very rude and EXTREMELY unprofessional, Terry!

Sandra, we are unable to take your appointment for Saturday as we reserve the day before a holiday for our regular clients. I'm sorry if this is upsetting to you. But I recommend you find another salon for all your hair needs .

Unfriendly atmosphere. Booked a new appointment then 4 days later cancelled via text message from owner, Terry Mecalo told me to take my hair needs somewhere else.
Sounds good to me!

lauren had been my best friend for over 15 years. she did my hair before she even worked as a stylist. she’s the only one who has done my hair since! she also does my brother’s, my sister’s, my mom and dad’s and most of my friend’s hair for over ten years. i love her, the salon she works at and i always leave feeling beautiful. i would recommend her and her salon to anyone and everyone! ❤️

Lauren always knows just what to do to get the color I am wanting from my hair while ensuring it stays healthy and strong! It’s always such a fun and friendly atmosphere there from whoever is working the front desk, to the owner and her dog Dottie! Since high school, this is the fourth salon I’ve gone to. By far it is my favorite. Definitely going to continue to stay with Lauren at Shear Lock Combs!
