I recently went in the Ste Genevieve store and was greeted by Janice (I am not sure of the spelling). What a delightful person. I told her what I needed and we laughed over different options. She finally helped me buy the items I needed to do the job right. I also chatted with Pam briefly. Both were nice and professional and I look forward to going back.

Service is a great place and especially paint you get there they remodeled it it looks beautiful in there I highly recommend this place if you are a worker that loves building things and stuff like that

I always liked the way the employees would help you find exactly what you need fast when you tell them your project. The do it center always kept 5 stars from me but It has changed the Last few times with the name. I seem to be on my own when I visit just like the big low priced Dept stores. All in all I Still like having a hardware store in our small town.Had to update the review as I have not had a visit without very helpful employees on every visit since my review. It’s great when business like this listen to the customers. Thanks for listening.It’s a Well earned 5 stars from me.

The employees are really helpful and educated on the products and services in store. The store always looks in good shape and is stocked well for being a local small store. I was in and out in minutes. If I were the boss, I would be giving each of the employees a raise. 100% recommend this store.

This is just a nice normal local hardware store and I give them 5 stars. But the lady behind the counter with the moustache is a not a people person and can be rude and abrasive to customers and makes me not want to return. She has poor customer service and gets real snappy real quick. Keep her it the back stocking shelves. She gets 1 star.

Everyone keeps telling me Buy Local, Buy Local, Buy Local! However every time I try to buy local they don't stock what I need. The items I need are not exotic items. They are regularly stocking items for box stores. Local continues to force me to buy elsewhere. I can't wait 3 Days To a week for the material. If local wants my business local needs to start stocking items!

Always helpful prices are a little higher then the big box stores. But the little extra you pay saves in fuel. The staff is knows what they are talking about, you don't have to deal with a high school kid who don't know the difference between PVC and copper pipe like at the box stores

My experiences are vastly different from the others posted. I have lived here all my life and have never had a bad experience here. I find the workers friendly and informative. When I ask a question they don't treat me like I'm an idiotic girl. Other one in town gives me eye rolls, snarky comments etc. My 81 year old mother will call and they take their time explaining things to her also. Their selectiona may not be vast like Lowe's, Menards, or home depot....but our town isn't as vast as where they are located. I love this store and it's employees. Shop local....take pride in your community and give these people another chance.

i would love to shop local but ive had a bad experience at both locations 1 both locations have a very limited supply of anything 2 both locations have workers with a know it all attitude and at the ste gen a employee followed me around like a buzzard looking for road kill so i walked out with out purchasing anything and bloomsdale a employee informed that "there is no need for a military discount" i could careless about the discount it was manner in which he informed me like he gave 2 sh$$s about the military a little respect goes a long way yall lost a good costumer as i am remodeling my kitchen
