Harter House Markets is a supermarket with an excellent meat counter and fresh, quality meats. It offers a wide variety of items and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and provides great customer service. Some note a difference when specific employees are working. As the only grocery store in Strafford for some, it is considered a good one. A few mention occasional items being out of stock, particularly after busy times. One critical point is that the store sometimes smells like rotten garbage. Overall, customers recommend it for its awesome meat selections and restful workers.
Customer service is unmatched! We called to make sure they had rotisserie chickens & whoever took the call not only took the time to check but also held one for us! & did so with a smile. I would’ve never thought someone would offer that. So silly but it made our day!

Great supermarket. The butcher shop in the back has excellent quality meats for not a crazy price. Super friendly staff and I love that this is so close to home.
