This dollar general specifically is god awful and I go out of my way to drive an extra 5 min to the next closest store because they never have stuff stocked, never have the store staffed, and it’s always full of clutter. It’s ran by the SWEETEST old lady but the place is just awful. Finally broke and wrote this review when I went in at 2 in the afternoon and was told by two women behind the counter I had to “wait a while” while they did a count which caused all three drawers to be down. Really? Can’t even stop here for a pack of smokes without it turning into a frustrating chore do not believe the good reviews on here they are most definitely done by employees.🤣🤦🏼♂️

I haven’t been to this Dollar General in YEARS!
I am so surprised how good it looks now it’s so clean amazing fresh produce AND WINE?!?!? This dollar general has stepped their game up! Also shout out to the blond lady with a blue stripe in her hair that checked me out today she was so helpful and kind!!

The absolute worst DG in the state of Missouri. Always unboxed stock everywhere.. currently in a line of 15 ppl and only 1 cashier. While the other mindlessly scrolls his phone unaware.
I won't blame everyone but as a whole regardless of busy or empty this place needs a change of pace fast

The bottom is my old post which stands just as true today as it did 6 yrs ago! This place has not changed a bit. There is never anywhere to walk because there are always carts full of merchandise that needs to be put on the shelves. While at the sametime there will be nothing currently stocked on the shelves. It is really sad because if someone could actually run this store it could be so much better and make so much more money. How can you expect to sell stuff with nothing on the shelves? When people come and you have nothing several times, they stop coming and looking to see if you have it. They will just go somewhere else where it will more than likely be. That's just human nature. Plus they always close early! People count on you being open until 10:00 Not 9:45, 9:50, or 9:55. There is a big difference. I stopped by the other day and they were saying they were closed cause no power yet them and everyone else currently had power.
This place is a joke! I would give it 0 stars if possible. I would not recommend anyone go there ever unless u like to have ur money stolen from Danielle( some sort of so called supervisor)! I had bought a few shirts for my husband on 11/2/18. Today 11/22/18, I tried to return one of them which didn't fit. I have my receipt, ID, and card in which it was bought on. The receipt says I paid $12.50 for the shirt, this little girl takes my receipt and then starts to give me $4.00! Yes I said $4.00! When I said no she said I could not even have my shirt and leave! I had not received a penny from her yet. She said I had to leave the shirt and take my 4.00 and go! Then she said she did not steal my money! Tell me what do u call it if not stealing?

I went their with my big bag I have brought it many times because I walk their no one had a problem with it because I go so much this blue haired woman that worked their said I was stealing which i wasn’t she forceful searched my bag and I had some dog toys from babysitting my brother and he had played in my bag and I told her that and she was like mhm and she didn’t ask me to call my mom which i should’ve but I’m super respectful and I’m only 15 she was rude and very unprofessional they need to hire plus I never seen that woman their before so she was new and then she banned me telling me she going to put my picture up but lucky she didn’t but don’t go their they suck at their job

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life went in bought some shampoo, forgot to put in my phone number for the coupon and then I came back not five minutes later, and Chasity informed me that since I didn’t grab my receipt that prints off in front of me underneath the counter that I couldn’t even see I couldn’t return them in order to re-purchase it and use the coupon and I asked well can’t you just re-print the receipt just like any other store could and she informed me we do not re print receipts ever even the higher up Manager can do that like come on is this a joke?
