Was in town for business which required me to go into the local Lowe's. Store was very clean and the associates were friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get in, out and back to work.

Horrible delivery service. Purchased appliances due to the promised delivery date. Took of work.. Get the confirmation and then a no show. Get a call after 9 pm saying they weren't going to make it and to top that they were not rescheduling for the next day. Wanted to push it off days because the next day was already booked. How many days are they going to push it based on already having delivery schedules? Poor customer service.....I would recommend different Improvement Store.

We had a representative from Lowe's come to the house about a month an a half ago to give us an estimate on a fence. We agreed on $3300 and our account was debited the next day. 6 WEEKS LATER the crew finally showed up to install the fence. They set the poles in the ground and left. This morning we received a voice mail stating that they won't be back to finish the job today because it's too cold outside. I checked the thermometer, 24.8 degrees. The contract states that they won't work in temps below 25. It's been one setback, delay and cancellation after the next. This project was supposed to be finished in 2 weeks. Very frustrating. If you're in the market for a fence, DO NOT GO TO LOWE'S or FENCE DOCTOR.

I had to make a quick run into town to grab a few bags of cement- I thought someone would be able to help me. Did I think wrong. The customer service was horrible. No one was to be found when needing help loading the bags- then I actually had a lady (worker) look at me struggling to move an abandoned cart with plywood on it while I tried to maneuver my way around with 4 80lb bags of cement. So disappointing

Were it not for the location, i would never shop here again...hopefully soon the Washington, Union, St Clair area might get a Home Depot or better yet a Menards. The staff are excellent at avoiding customers, with the exception of a very few excellent workers (Phil back in lumber is my go-to guy). The lumber will warp before you get it home and the prices are ridiculous considering the quality of the products. Lowes used to be good but i suspect their corporate policies have something to do with the decline of both customer service and quality.

Where as this used to be a good Lowes, today I may begin to shop at Home Depot and drive the extra 10 miles to be treated better..2 days ago I gave Lowes over $1200 for doors and windows with another 3 grand in purchases coming soon...the girl at the checkout was very condescending and both my daughter and I left with the impression we were bothering her by trying to pay for our purchase...and trying to find someone to help us find building materials or even an empty cart was like pulling hens teeth...WTF has happened to this store? Even the Washington store is now friendlier and that store has horrible customer service...

Three internet orders in three weeks time and they managed to mess up all three times. The last time I received notification and a phone call saying my order was ready for pick up. When I arrived at the store my order was not pulled. The employees at this store are very good at saying "I'm sorry" because they truly are SORRY.

This is a pretty nice Lowe's in comparison to others. I say that because it is about 2 years old so everything is in great condition and it is obviously a newer style store. Lowe's is a convenient place to shop for home needs. When in need of "Lumber Yard" items I would prefer to shop at Meeks because the prices are better. However, on Sunday's they are the only one open and they do carry farm gates that are less expensive than most of the farm stores.
