Tony and Angie were helpful, detailed, transparent, authentic, and thankfully, local! You must make Village Motors an option when vehicle shopping!

I can't say anything about their used car dealings but the owner we met sold us a bunch of great firewood for use last weekend at Meramec State Park. I'd recommend them for their firewood for sure.

This is a dishonest dealership. The alleged one owner vehicle sold to my son turned out to have been sold at auction numerous times before he purchased it. The car is still not running properly due to an issue which cannot be diagnosed. Rather than relieving him of his contract the dealership tried to sell him another car with many more miles for much more money. Bad Business.

Whatever happened to integrity and doing the right thing? Some people are all about making a buck and that is right where these people fit in. They sold my brother in law, what was told to be great car, a total lemon and then promised to make it right. Long story short.... my brother in law is stuck with a payment and a car that's not fixed. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere that they sell certified used cars if your in the market.

BUYER BEWARE. I recently had a baby and needed a more reliable larger vehicle, so I bought a car here. It seemed nice, low miles, good reviews, friendly people... The CAR I BOUGHT BROKE DOWN literally 50 miles from the shop, the next day! Check engine light came on and car would not go. I called Jack the owner/salesman and he assured me not to worry, that they would make it right. So I had my car towed to their dealership (at my expense) and they sent it to their mechanic to get fixed. The car was in their shop for about a week (I'm out of a car with a new baby) and they called and said it was fixed. So I drove an hour and picked up my car. IT HAD THE EXACT SAME ISSUE THE NEXT DAY. So, I took my car back to their dealership and they gave me a rental and told me they would get to the bottom of it. My car was in the shop for 6 weeks! They called me and told me I could come pick it up, mind you this is six weeks after I bought the car and I was waiting patiently for my newly purchased vehicle... I get there and take possession of my car. It breaks down less then 1 mile from their dealership! Both the owners came to see the issue for themselves and apologized and again said they would make it right. They gave me another car to drive which I drove for another 4 weeks while my car was supposedly being fixed. Then after nearly three months of being without my new vehicle, they called and said "whelp, we don't know how to fix it so your choices are 1. Keep it and hope it runs ok. 2. Trade it in to us for a vehicle that is nearly twice the bluebook value and has 140k miles (mine has 38k) or 3. Trade it to our friends dealership for whatever they will give you for it.No resolution what so ever. They sold me a lemon, said they would make it right and gave me a rental car for 3 months then took it back and refused to buy the lemon back. So now I have a loan for a car that I can't resell or fix. This place is a sham, and is not someone you should do business with!

Dishonest. I have copies of texts and videos. We drove a car off the lot almost 3 months ago and it broke down the next day. Jack said he and Tony would make this right, they sent the car to Kia and we haven’t had our car for almost 3 months, it’s been in the shop. Besides the one time they claimed there was nothing found wrong with it and we came to pick it up and it then broke down 1/2 mile from their shop. Tony and Jack drove down to see it on the side of the road and had to have it towed back to the Kia dealership (again). Now the solution is to come pick up the broken car or to trade it in for a car that costs nearly double the blue book value. He also gave us the option to trade it in to a friends dealership. They will not buy it back. They will not make it right. I’ve attempted to post text messages that came directly from the owner. I am happy to share photos and videos to anyone who would like to reach out. Go elsewhere. These people are not honest people.

Buyers beware. Bad business ethics. Sold a car that broke down the very next day and then promised to make it right. But instead you kept the car in the shop for months and said there was nothing wrong with it. Then the car broke down again not even a mile down the road. Maybe complaints to the BBB, Attorney General, Consumer Protection Agencies, and a claim against your surety bond will force a change of heart since you can’t do the right thing on your own.
