I'm overly delinquent in posting this review, but felt it was important to share our experience so that it doesn't happen to other people in the same circumstances.Unbeknownst to us, our senior German Shepherd had become ill with what would later be diagnosed as cancer. Einstein was not a fan of being picked up/handled and could become mouthy if not properly accounted for. This was directly communicated to the staff at Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates by Banfield. Unfortunately, the staff at Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates did not practice the appropriate handling of Einstein and they advised us he "bit" one of the staff members at some point during the appointment. In further discussions with the staff and presumably the owner (in comparison to the family member who dropped off/picked up Einstein), there were conflicting accounts of when the incident occurred. There was a consistent story of when and how it actually happened. The conversations eventually became endless finger-pointing between Banfield and St. Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates. Bottom line, the proper communication and delivery of records should have occurred.Due to further lack of communication between Banfield and Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates, Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates assumed he was not up to date on his various vaccines. As such, he was to be placed under the 10-day quarantine protocol and the "biting" was reported to the county. Einstein succumbed to his cancer and passed within the 10-day quarantine period. As such, Einstein's head/brain was collected as a sample for testing, which we were told after the fact. It was later communicated that Banfield does not generally provide how the sample is collected, which seems dishonest. As one can imagine, knowing how the process is handled was extremely upsetting. In speaking with county and state representatives, it was determined (although disagreed to by both Banfield and Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates) this was not necessary given the circumstances and fact it was documented that improper handling / or under duress, Einstein may "bite." As a show of good faith, Banfield refunded a portion of invoices given the incident should have never happened in the first place with proper handling and delivery of his vaccination records. The same review has been be posted to St. Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates as well as the responsibility falls between both parties.

This location took wonderful care of our baby, Buster. From the time we moved here until he crossed the rainbow bridge, they were so sweet and happy to see him. I appreciate them beyond words for how they helped us say goodbye when the time came.

Always friendly and accommodating. Even with an uncooperative cat.

Dr. Doss called to clarify some issues I had with my dog's visit with her. I appreciate this, so amending my previous review. My main complaint now is that she was not good at communicating what she was doing to my dog or what was wrong with my dog, during the visit, which were quite different than my 10.5yrs of experience visiting other vets with my dog. Educating dog owners is an important quality in a vet. I perceived her overall unfriendly and dismissive throughout the visit. But I do appreciate her call to discuss my concerns later.I don't believe Banfield's wellness plan saves you, they charged for a cytopoint injection administration. I've never seen that before. Weird additional fees are present.I've moved a lot and seen 10+ vets from different states and vet schools, I've shadowed vets a handful of times in my life...she is one of the lesser vets that I've experienced.Customer service is difficult to communicate with as well.

The staff at this location are top-notch! I’ve never had an instance where I thought they didn’t have the best in mind for my Chloe and Kona. They usually see Dr. Snyder who is so kind and always super informative. I also never have an issue with getting an appointment in a timely manner, which is almost unheard of lately for any type of visit! I’ll continue recommending Banfield Town & Country, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to our fur babies!

Drake, keri, Melissa are amazing ❤️ . Why ai gave four stars is I have to go over information to the dr. That the last dr. Forgot to put in. It becomes very frustrating. I love how the vet techs call to check on them after a visit.

I really like this banfield. They are super kind and thoughtful. Dr. Doss (spelling probably wrong) is great. We have a puppy on the puppy plan and it’s really a deal you can’t beat.

Dr. Doss is amazing! I would trust her with all of my pets. I have a large dog coming in at about 75lbs who is now 7 years old. She fell ill while I was out of town, and Dr. Doss was the only vet who gave me answers and a plan for recovery. I now get to spend several more years with my amazing pup thanks to the team! Dr. Doss is very knowledge and genuinely cares about her patients and their owners. The rest of the staff is great as well. I will continue taking my dog to Banfield Town & Country for years to come!

This summer I got a new puppy. My first dog has been going to this vet since he was 3 months and he is now almost 6; they cared so much for him and I expected the same for my new puppy. On our second visit for shots, they continued to call my new puppy, Rogue, a girl when he was a boy. They also held him down with 3 vet techs and a vet ( he was not even 20 lbs…) for 1 shot because he was squirming too much. Instead of making the vet a fun place for Rogue, they made him scared of it. Immediately after the shot, they refused to trim his nails and the vet, Dr. Dos told me that he will have to be medicated every vet visit and nail trim I take him to. No one scheduled his next round of shots, or even went over any of my questions regarding his surgery. They didn’t call to check on him the next day like they do with my other dog. Recently I got a call to remind me of my other dogs comprehensive exam, Rogue would also be due, for an exam per the portal but they didn’t inform me of this either.we have switched to a new vet, she took care of my pup with out medication and treated him with extra care. I’m disappointed in the poor service we receive by dr. Dos and her team.
