“Hands down the most amazing veterinary care ! Our Cooper tore his ACL and I researched at least 10 different vets to perform his surgery . The first person I talked to was Madeline( vet tech). She was kind and empathetic to his situation and had Tiffany ( vet nurse) call me the next day . Tiffany is amazing ! She provided so much information and answered all my questions and was so reassuring that I booked a consult with Dr. Chris . He spent over 1 hour going through details and answered all of our questions . We felt heard and never felt rushed . Cooper underwent his TPLO surgery this week and the office has consistently followed up on how he was doing . Tiffany once again was phenomenal! The day of surgery she was so compassionate and went over everything in detail for his postoperative course . Cooper is an extremely anxious dog and he went right with her . She has a calming presence ! Dr. Chris has called twice post op already and helped us navigate through his pain control and offered reassurance , support and changed up pain medicine regimen that helped Cooper so much . We have never felt so CARED for. I cannot say enough GREAT things to adequately describe the true gratitude we have for every single friendly, welcoming face working there . A big THANK YOU to Tiffany , Madeline and Dr. Chris ❤️”

“I really don't remember how lone I have been going to Concord, but I know at least over 8 yrs. Early Aug. this year my 7 yr. old Scottie Mile stopped eating. I had the fortune to be seen by Dr. Malady and with his help and my great sadness I had to let Miles go to sleep on 8/27/24. Through out it all Dr . Malady was kind and thoughtful in his dealings with a fur mom that had a strong idea as to where and how this was going to end. What really surprised me was just this past Fri (9/27) got a letter from the UMo College of Veterinary Medicine notifying me that a donation had been made from Concord in honor of Miles in his passing. To say I was very surprised and impressed in and by this is almost an understatement. To me this is just another example of this practice's thought and caring in dealing with all who come through their doors no matter the number of legs they walk on. Should this have not sold you on trying this place by now for your fur or scale kids I am not sure what more I can do.”

“We had to put our dog to sleep. Call FAH we had never been there but Dr. Chipperfield as so kind to Sadie. Spent time with her, talking to her & petting her. Talked to us and if she knew us forever, reassuring us we were doing the right thing for Sadie. She was so compassionate to us. If (or when) I get another dog, I will take her to Dr. Chipperfield. Other vet's I have been to didn't make me feel they really care about my dog or me. I highly recommend the Family Animal Hospital to anyone that wants a place that truly cares for your pet and treats you with respect and not like just another customer. The staff were kind and sweet.”

“I've been taking my dog here for over 8 years and had nothing but top-notch care for my boy. I unfortunately had to have him put down a few weeks back, and the staff were so kind throughout the whole experience. The hospital has a separate room for saying goodbye to your pet that is comfortable and quiet, and for me it made all the difference to feel like I could take my time to say goodbye and not feel rushed. They even sent me a sympathy card in the mail afterwards signed by most of the staff and the vets that was handwritten and so thoughtful. The staff here clearly love and care about animals and it shows through all that they do. They really made a very difficult time go just a little bit smoother for me.”

“I wasn’t happy with my previous vet clinic and I have an xl dog who is extremely aggressive specifically at the vet’s office. His previous vet couldn’t get within 5 feet of him which was impacting his care. I learned about the fear free certification and switched to this animal hospital.
Everyone here is so kind, so gentle, and my dog almost drags me to get inside and he’s glad to say hi to the staff. They are super informed and they always answer my questions. My dog even let the vet give him an injection without a hitch. They’re all amazing and I have nothing negative to say.”
