These are some wonderful people. I was in dire need and they came to my rescue. I have a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. I live over a 100 miles away. Every shop I called said 3 to 6 weeks. CP Transmission had me back on the road in 3 days. They are friendly. They also saw I needed an oil change and they change it for me and also fixed a few other things too. They went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend them.

I brought in my Hyundai Elantra with 60k miles that had a little shutter when slowing. They said it would be $75 for a diagnostic evaluation.When I came in to pickup the vehicle they said they determined that it also needed a reset which they took it upon themselves to do, and charged me for that added time and labor. Double the agreed cost.At no point did they reach out to me to ask me if I wanted them to do that, and they said that I had to pay for this added work because they already did it. I agreed and didn’t give them much trouble other than stating I would have appreciated them to call me first so I could decide what work I wanted done. They responded with, “well you thought you were going to have to buy a new transmission” as in I should be thanking them it was less expensive.They said with the reset it will continue to shutter for a little while until I “drive it out”Fast forward weeks later and it is still doing the exact same thing. I called to ask what they could do and they said they would install a new transmission but wouldn’t credit me back for the reset charge that I never asked for and didn’t work.These people are absolute crooks and I wouldn’t trust them with my vehicle ever again.

Honest. Relatable. Great to talk to. They explained everything clearly. It was obvious they wanted to make sure that the repair was correct and I was happy. Easy to get to just of 141. They have a small town feel. I will be back if I have future transmission needs.

Stan fixed my 5 speed manual transmission after another shop totally screwed it up...I have already recommended this shop to other people. Erica, the office person, is a wealth of knowledge. I'm so glad I found them. Oddly enough they are the closest shop to my house.

Had my truck towed here to check out a recently rebuilt transmission that I had done. Discussed in detail what I had done, provided paperwork from the rebuild kit and a list of parts that I replaced. Was told that they would open the transmission up and see what was going on. CP was the only company that actually agreed to work on it, that's why I went there. Quoted $1300 ish minimum, $150/hr while they were working on it. $5100 for a brand new transmission. Stressed that brand new was a last resort, that I would rather spend the money on them fixing mine. After not hearing from them for a week, I called and they were waiting on the new transmission to arrive. Said they decided not to open mine up. If I hadn't called, they would have just installed the new trans and I would've been on the hook for $5100. Cancelled the job, and was charged $750 for them skip everything we talked about them doing, plus the $260 tow there and back. To top it off, they outright lied to the BBB when I filed a complaint, saying I never told them about the rebuild. Stay far away from this place, their business practices are deceptive and they won't be true to their word.Service: Transmission
