Overrated and overpriced for donated goods.

I would shop here more often if they brought back dressing rooms. It is so disappointing they no longer have a place to try on items before buying. And yes, I know I can return items if they don’t fit but it is an inconvenience and a hassle to drive all the way back home to try on and then have to make a return trip back to the store to return the items that don’t fit. I struggle to find clothes my size that fit right so it is always a gamble buying anything without trying on first. More often than not I will grab something off the rack with intention of buying but then change my mind because it’s just not worth having to make a return trip if it doesn’t fit. So the store has lost some of my business due to this. I hope management will consider putting dressing rooms back in this store because it would definitely encourage shoppers like me to shop there more.

I think Goodwill has forgotten they are a thrift store, especially in home goods! I would buy more stuff but their prices are getting ridiculous. $10 for a ceramic plate last time I was in there?? 🤣 Good luck. They would move more if they priced lower. The employees are always so sweet though.

There is a manager named Pamela that is very rude to her employees one day we was waiting in line and a new girl needed help returning something for a customer the manager came after taking forever looked very angry and started talking down to the young cashier and talking to her like she is a child just super inappropriate sad enough she made the girl start crying and the manager just walks off like really if someone hates their job that much just go somewhere else instead of yelling at your employees like they are dirt.

I looked through the dresses with a friend. We picked a few out and were shocked when we weren't able to try them on. I learned they changed to a 14 day return window instead of dressing rooms. I bought 3 dresses and returned 2. I understand it helps keeps the store clean and probably makes it harder for people to steal, but I felt awkward returning items to goodwill. The store was mostly organized. Look for the color tag sales to find good deals.

Yesterday, I took my Mom out for a day of thrifting and to lunch. One of our last stops of the day was at this Goodwill location where we unfortunately ran into DONNA, an older white lady who was rude beyond measure.
As we entered the store, my mom and I were joking about me dying her hair green ? (like mine is), and we said it as we walked to the nearest rack where Donna was hanging clothing. She looked up and said out loud (which was absolutely none of her business). "Brunette women would not look good with green hair," to which I removed my little hat and said, "I don't know, I look pretty great with green hair. To which nosy Donna replied, "No, women should not have unnatural hair colors" (irony alert this older woman's hair color 100% came from a box and was not natural in any way).
The lady across the racks from us said she saw a girl earlier that day with pink and green hair and thought it was cute, albeit loud. To which Donna starts talking again about how women shouldn't have unnatural hair.
I waited a minute and turned to her and let her know what she said was rude and that women should be lifting each other up. She said she was sorry (as she was smiling) and I replied that I seriously doubted she was sorry and walked away.
The ONLY reason I didn't speak to the manager about Donna's absolutely unprofessional behavior was because there was quite a line behind us when my Mother and I went to check out, and as it was my day to celebrate mother's day with my Mom it didn't feel fair to make everyone wait.
Please remind your employees that rudeness will NOT be tolerated in this environment. I worked well over 15 years in the retail industry and was taught repeatedly to keep opinions to myself unless asked for.
Donna butted into our conversation ONLY to be rude.
This is unacceptable.

Clean place. The staff is friendly, and the service is prompt. The merchandise varies, but it is always interesting to browse through the store. Quality is adequate, so no need to worry about buying stuff in poor condition. Prices are bit high for secondhand, but still a good place to try when you're shopping.

The prices at this location are absolutely ridiculous! Good Will gets their items for FREE! Why is there a special locked display case for things like glasses or figurines? The items in the cases are priced higher than they are in antique stores. The manager of the Washington location should be ashamed. I asked a cashier if they have been getting complaints about the prices and she said yes. She then said they have to pay rent and pay workers...they have always paid rent and workers, that doesn't mean you should take advantage of people.

It's crazy that "Goodwill" gets EVERYTHING dumped to their door FREE, but does not mind trying to charge me $12.00 for a smelly blouse. Go figure. Goodwill laughs at it's customers all day.

The prices are insane for secondhand items. Some home items are priced higher than brand new. Unless you find an absolutely priceless item, you'll be disappointed.

Prices at this particular Goodwill is in line with Walmart prices for new product. Save money and go to literally any other Goodwill but Washington MO.

I was in the store today 6-24-23 with my grandson and 2 nieces. My grandson will be 2 in August, he was yelling loudly but in a happy way. First there was an elderly lady making comments of well he's been doin that for a while then there was an associate that gave us a dirty look then was not very polite when we checked out. I get that he was being loud and screaming but it wasn't constant and it wasn't an annoying yell. It just upsets me when people want to be like that. They expect children to behave and be quiet in public
