Can't give it a fair review because they weren't open although the sign said they were.

Unique and interesting establishment. Went during lunch on a weekday and a few locals were there for lunch. Decor is hunting/fishing theme and somewhat darkly lit. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich and it was large and very good. My friends had burnt ends sandwiches. There wasn't much meat on the sandwiches. Portions smaller than expected for the prices. Cash only when we were there but said they normally take cards.

Food - Hard to believe that in the middle of nowhere there this little shop has some of the best catfish around! Service - Great hometown service. Lots of smiles and my tea was never empty. Ambiance - Kind of reminiscent of a hunting lodge. Which worked quite well for this place. My disappointment - The BBQ... first and foremost there were almost no BBQ dishes so why the name? The food was good... but what I was at the place for was BBQ... well at least the Catfish was good!

Had the best tenderloin ever! It was the size of a dinner plate plus tater tots for only $9.99 I am looking forward to going back and trying other items on the menu and specifically the loaded fries.

My husband and I had the handbreaded tenderloins and for our side, the bbq baked beans
the tenderloin was huge. crispy breading seasoned well. if you are a tenderloin lover I highly recommend this one.
the bbq baked beans were also delicious and I want to try their bbq next time.

First time in & they were out of a lot of stuff. It happens. We ordered some appetizer that came with Burnt Ends & when I say they were the best, I mean THE best.

This restaurant used to be a great place to eat. We have been here numerous times in the past few weeks and have been absolutely disappointed. For starters, the restaurant is dark inside with very little lighting. One coworker had to use a flashlight on his phone to see the menu. After about 10 minutes we finally got our orders taken. We ordered 2 Torture burgers, extra jalapeños and 1 Cheeseburger. Our orders took 15 minutes to get to the table. My Torture burger had 3 jalapeños on the burger, maybe 12 fries, and no extra jalapeños. The cheese burger was absolutely sad. It was no bigger than the palm of my hand and to be honest, wouldn’t be enough to satisfy a toddler. It didn’t have any kind of lettuce, tomatoes, or onions. We had to call the waitress from across the restaurant to get a side of stuff to make the burger even moderately appealing. The waitress never even came around for refills or to ask how everything was. She spoke very little the whole time we were there. In the end, the burgers had no flavor, with us even hardly noticing the nacho cheese on the torture burgers. The kids meal cheese burger we received was a little over $10, and that’s with a water and our “torture” burgers were over $12. The only torture occurring at Waverly BBQ is the the quality of food and service. We won’t be back
