I've used them for years until this week. We will never be back. Our dog had a medical emergency and we called them to say we were bringing her in. They said, "best we can do it next Wednesday", a week later. Maybe they don't understand what an emergency is... but the front desk could have cared less...well done Madison. We've moved on to a vet who actually cares for animals and treats customers the right way.

They act like there main concern and business is selling you something, Rather than take care of your pet. Everytime you see them they want to sell you a script or convince you to use a different one that cost more. One doctor scheduled my dog for surgery for a knot under chin, had me scared to death of it being cancer or something. The morning of surgery, another Dr came in before and used a syringe to drain the cyst and charged me $15 and cancelled surgery. So the level of knowledge is lacking with some of vets.

We have been faithful to this clinic for years giving them 1,000 of dollars in surgeries and visits. Our sweet baby began to decline in health and could no longer walk. We called to schedule an appointment and they said the best they could do was three days out. We called another vet who got her in immediately and ultimately we lost her. When we called this morning to cancel the appointment and inform them of the passing the woman who answered the phone stated " yep, okay we will get that marked down". Not an I am sorry or anything. Horrible Horrible Horrible.

Backstory - I was a regular client for 10 years from 2000-2010. I had a life change and had to move so we took our fur babies to another veterinary clinic but my kennel preference "was" Madison Pet Clinic. There is one front desk person with a not so good attitude. I don't know her name but she has shorter dark hair. The others are great but need to be more on top of checking documentation/vaccination records. The office manager, Adam is horrible. I do have to say that the kennel techs that care for the pets are super amazing and sweet! Our recent experience with Madison Pet Clinic... A few weeks ago we took our beloved pups Kaylee and Zoey to stay in a kennel suite for a week. They have a camera in the suite so clients can peek in to see how they're doing. We wanted to make sure we had the app for the camera working properly, so we were outside in the car getting it set up. While doing do, we saw they were putting something in their nose and it dawned on me that it was the kennel cough vaccine. We were not happy because they already had documentation on file showing they recently received the vaccine. We had our veterinarian email this information to them. They claimed it was difficult to understand but made no attempt to contact the veterinary clinic to get clarification. Instead, they proceeded with giving Kaylee and Zoey the vaccine and charging us for it without mentioning it or getting our approval. So, our pups were double dosed with the kennel cough vaccine in just a 2 month period. This vaccine is given once every 6 months. They did reimburse us the amount. While at the airport in Atlanta on the way to our destination, we noticed that Zoey did not have her blanket in the suite with her. We specifically packed for both of them they're special items to make them feel more at ease while away from home. So, I called Madison from the airport and asked them to please put the blanket in there for her. The front staff girl indicated it was being washed. I asked why because her blanket was never in there to begin with. She put me on hold and Adam, the office manager hopped on the phone. He told me that I should not be watching Kaylee and Zoey all the time on the camera. I said that's what it's there for. He proceeded to tell me to be quiet because he is talking. I was getting pretty upset in the airport and my hubby knew something was up. Adam then said that he looked in their system and we hadn't brought our pups in for 2 years and that we can no longer bring them there. He's has horrible client service skills! So, I guess because we don't spend an enormous amount of money there on a regular basis, we're not welcome. Needless to say, our trip was basically ruined because after that episode with Adam, the office manager, we were concerned about our fur babies the entire time. We came home early because of it. Adam is terrible and should be replaced with someone that appreciates the love clients have for their pets. We will never go back and we will no longer recommend Madison Pet Clinic to anyone else for any reason.

I have used this vet for 6 months. I use to use Main Street but wow Madison pet clinic is so much better all around. All the staff is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I absolutely love Dr Bates! She is the best vet I've ever used. She is knowledgeable, funny, kind and caring. She tells it like it is. I just had to put down my 13 yo dachshund 2 days ago. She was so kind. My doxie was dx'd w lung cancer and heart failure. She helped me keep her comfortable and alive for 6 months. I will never forget how she helped me w my Allie girl. I have a new dachshund puppy and she has taken great care of him. I would recommend this clinic and vet to anyone!!

I've spent literally $1,000's of dollars here. Dr Gaither has been a trusted care giver for over 6 years. I've recommended this practice to several friends. However, thanks to the poor choices, obstinance, and flat out rudeness of the young receptionists, we're leaving for a better practice. Customer service requires basic courtesy and common decency. These young women are definitely in the wrong line of work. Unfortunately they are the first thing the customer experiences and they are giving the whole practice a bad reputation. Thankfully there are other vet clinics who actually want my business. Also, I asked for a follow-up call from the vet/owner... Never heard from them. Again, there are others out there who actually want your business. Madison is not one of those businesses.

I was told by Dr Frank after questioning some things i was charged for on invoices for services and questioning two medications they gave my little dog that i researched and found were harnful to her that if i came to their clinic again i would be charged with trespassing.I left messages for the vet who treated my dog,the owner Dr Brian Frank, and his office manager asking for answers and not one of them returned my calls.Ive found out since then that their fees are at least twice that of several other vets.Theyre awfully proud of their services for such an incompetent bumch of so called professionals.I wouldnt take any pet i have to them if you paid me a million dollars. If im going to bring my dog to you you better damn well love her as much as i do .It was all about the money with them.

I usually don't write reviews, but my Cat got into a scuffle over the weekend and I did what I could for the wound. All I needed was for them to maybe shave a small spot and give advise on the wound, but no they're too busy even thought it's mid day and I need to call back the next day and schedule and hope they are free?? How can anyone with a real emergency trust this place when they are "too busy" to administer a simple antibiotic dose to one of their most loyal customers???
