This is the typical place that takes advantage of women that walk in to their shop alone. They will charge you the most for an oil change without even letting you know that there is a cheaper option. John tried to charge me $70 for an oil change when I asked him for the most price efficient option. He slid me the receipt and asked me to sign it. I could hear his breathing getting heavier as I stopped to read the service contract before I signed it. He knew he was trying to rip me off. When I asked him why he was trying to make me pay for the more expensive option he responded with non relevant statements about synthetic oil and said, “you can have your feelings.” This statement was offense to me as a woman because he minimized my opinion about his customer service as “feelings.” So rude for a man, a complete stranger, to make a women feel like they are just in their “emotions” while he was clearly trying to make me pay for the most expensive option when I asked for the cheapest one. Is it so hard to show your customer a list of quotes? 10/23/23 @ 1:35 pm

Great service, Steve helped me find a solution that fit my budget when other places wouldn't go that extra mile. Technician was fast and thorough even replacing the spare tire in the stow and go spot which is not fun.

Great job. Only issue is the battery in my tire needed to be replaced an that wasn't done. Was wanting it all done in one stop. It was written on the envelope I filled out. Knowing you where going to change that very tire. Would have been nice to do at the same time.

Dobbs provided the best service I have ever gotten. Chris was attentive and answered any questions I had. He was extremely polite and professional. My car is like new. I would highly recommend Dobbs at Yorkshire Plaza for all your car needs.

Complete crooks. Had a screw in my tire, I told them the exact tire AND I marked the tire and where the screw was. I left after service was "done" and found they did not remove the screw. When I returned a couple hours later, the manager said they fixed something, must have been a second screw, and I could make another appointment to fix the original screw issue. I asked them to show me the second screw location, he refused to show me where they "fixed" the other screw in my tire. He was pretty ignorant about it all too.

I prefer this location to the Olivette one. 1) They actually give and keep appointments, 2) John offered great customer service, and 3) They were thorough in the review of the work completed. Each experience has been a good one. It’s worth the extra drive.

LOVE these guys!They give you a time and cost estimate and then they do great work, fast! You get a description of your car’s issues in terms you can understand, you don’t feel like they’re up selling you (and if they might even give you a discount if you ask). They’ve always treated me with respect at the Dobbs on Laclede Station Rd in Yorkshire Plaza.This Dobbs is the best!

I’m giving 5 stars because the front desk employees made an issue right today without hesitation. Which is good because I might not spend much money at Dobbs but my Dad has and has been a customer for almost as long as it has been open. Towards the end of my oil change and tire service, an employee/mechanic from the back came out to talk to me. It was 1:30ish and I had dropped off at 12 noon.The employee said my car would be ready in about 20 mins and that they were doing the tire alignment since it had been 1 year and was needed, to which I replied “okay, thanks!” and he said, “okay!” and that was it. When I checked out I thought I was paying the $85.00 we talked about when I checked-in & was then quoted $325.00 because of the “realignment”. This had not been explained to me by the mechanic and no prices were explained so I was pretty shocked. I also can’t afford it and wouldn’t have agreed to it had I known. It was very awkward and embarrassing for me to explain but it seemed to be a miscommunication. I was relieved b/c as a woman I worry about being scammed, so I was happy to know it was really a lack of my knowledge on services mixed with the employee forgetting to tell me this was considered a new service added with a $200 charge to be added. The man at the front desk was very kind and courteous to me. I explained to him that not only had I called ahead and was quoted $85.00 for the oil change & tire rotation two days before my appt., but that when I came into Dobbs and checked in I had even confirmed with the other man at the front desk that the price was $85.00 total and I signed the receipt. I even went so far as to tell the man at the front desk that I didn’t want any extras and that I was driving part time for Uber and was paying for myself when usually my Dad pays for me when he’s in town. He had told me the rotation was free. The miscommunication was I thought realignment meant the same as rotation & just thought the mechanic was giving me an update to be ready in 20 mins. when it would finally be ready to go. I checked out I was quoted $15.00 as my only extra which is a fair price since they did it for me & it was an add on I had specifically requested.I felt badly this happened but Dobbs did the right thing today.

Amazing customer service! They fit me in last minute for my emissions test and saved me! Everyone was extremely friendly & I would highly recommend Yorkshire Dobbs, I’m a very satisfied customer!

crooks.. wanted me to replace my tires after 2 months.. came in with needing a headlight replaced and somehow all 4 of my tires we're worn and they needed to run a whole diagnostic for replacing light bulbs...estimate 750 dollars. I took it to a different mechanic, johnson and Johnson's autocare about a half mile away.. they replaced the bulbs said tires were in great shape, alignment was great, no need for diagnostic, replaced bulbs and was done in 15 minutes.. 37 dollars.. do not go here to Dobbs.

I purchased a new tire and I asked for my hubcap not to be put on the wheel the new tire I purchased for reasons I won't disclose the mechanic put the hubcap on the wheel. Maybe they were trying to help me by putting the hubcap on the wheel. Jesse Robinson.

I've always had great luck with this particular Dobbs. They have competitive tire prices, good warranty for tires, and are able to squeeze me in within a day usually.

Dobbs is great. I had the misfortune of getting a nail in my tire near close of business at the start of Memorial Day weekend. The team at Dobbs was professional and courteous, helped me get back on the road and made my frustrating start to my long weekend much smoother. Thanks guys!

This Dobbs location has always been very accommodating.I have brought my car here several times after unfortunate "roadside" issues that have resulted in damaged tires ( nails, large board in the road, animal that caused me to swerve and run over landscaping rocks, etc).The folks at Dobbs have fitted me into their crowded schedule and taken care of me on the same day each time.Thanks for being professional, courteous, sympathetic, fast and helpful.You've made stressful situations easier to deal with.

I brought my car back here because the tires I originally purchased were worn out after 23,000 miles. The manager (Chris) was very nice and gave me a discount on a new set of tires. I appreciate him working with me on the price for the tires.
