“I'm so happy I stopped by Flowers and weeds today. A friend and I were driving around the area and decided to take a stroll. Holly cow is this place awesome as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the wonderful staff. We saw a few people coming bringing in fresh locally grown flowers to stock the cooler. We took a stroll thru the inside and was impressed with the variety and quality of the plants. Everything looked super healthy and well cared for. The staff truly enjoyed and loved what they did for a living and it shows. After indulging in all the awesome inside offerings we took a stroll thru the outdoor garden shop. There was a good variety of vegetables and perennials that also were well taken care of. To the review I read about the price this is not a big box store and the variety and the quality is the best I've seen anywhere. If you're in the area or down for a drive you have to come check it out you have to come and see for yourself. 5stars”
“Stopped by the nursery today to look at WSM and Oaks. They have a huge selection of trees, bushes and plants and the prices are very very reasonable’ I live in northern Illinois where tree prices are 2 1/2 more expensive.
The staff especially Chris is the best!

Great service and healthy plants. Beautiful variety of colors for pots. Although they were busy with brunch, employees were all pleasant and extremely helpful. Two wonderful ladies inside the nursery were kind. They check me out quickly, watered my plant, and wrapped my gift beautifully.

“This is quite a delayed review- but better late than never. :) My mom really wanted some hanging plants for Mother's Day. I always drive by Colors of Spring and notice the beautiful plants outside (when they're open). We went together to pick them out, and loved the different varieties that they offered. We parked on Fyler for street parking, and walked in the back. Lots of different areas to look and choose from. I'm the furthest from a plant pro, so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what I saw. However; they looked well taken care of and of good quality. There were also a large variety on the outside of the front of the shop on Watson. We found a couple we liked to check out and the staff member working explained to my mom how to properly take care of her choices- water amount, sunlight amount. It was a quick and easy experience, I would definitely go back to find more in the future!”

“Great nursery! Very knowledgeable staff! I needed help with a couple of boxwoods with browning leaves. The young man I spoke with inspected the samples I brought in, immediately diagnosed the problem and suggested a treatment plan. Definitely recommend this nursery.”
“The staff was super friendly, and even helped me load the soil onto the flat bed cart with me. After I was done checking out, there was a younger lady in the garden area who was told to go on break, and offered to help load the soil in the truck with me, since the guys that usually do it weren't around. I didn't want her to have to go to work while on her break, but she insisted. That kind of work is hard to come by.
Then the guy that usually does it, finally comes out of hiding, and the girl asks him to help. He says yes and even pushes the heavy cart for me to where I parked and loaded it into the truck with me.
I was very impressed with how everyone was working together. That is what I call true teamwork.
I will definitely be coming back to this location.”

They loaded my trailer and total time spent was 10 minutes which is exceptional. I always have and will continue to recommend STL Compost. Thank you.”
“Almost every worker I passed by today said hi and was very friendly. (It did help that I had my dog with me :) however, they were very kind and respectful of my dog who is still learning how to interact with the general public. My dog got a few treats. Chatted with a worker named Alicia who was very sweet and made me feel welcome. Thankful for kind people!”

“I visited this store after experiencing inferior customer service at Lowe’s Arnold. I was pleased to find exceptional customer service and ceiling tiles that were $10 less than what I paid at Lowe’s. I had to buy the remaining tiles here because Lowe's was out of stock. Excellent job, Home Depot! I won’t be returning to Lowe’s again.”

“This location was packed last week for the end of April... but they had beautiful flowers and a wide assortment of mulch. I prefer to go to the smaller floral shops for actual plants, but I needed to come here for peat moss that they didn't carry elsewhere. Although it was busy the self check out went relatively quick. Overall pleased with the experience.”
“In and out service, able to drop mower off at 9, and it was ready before their time of closing. Matter of fact I had to pick it up the next day, because I was on the job when call came to come and get it.”

“I am super grateful for this nursery. They had a specific plant Ive been hunting down. I unfortunately live in a different state and they do not really ship plants however I was able to talk them into giving it a shot. Everyone I spoke to was extremely kind and courteous. They took the utmost care in packaging and made some wise decisions regarding the whole arrangement to make sure it arrived in great shape despite the cold weather. Ive never been so happy and grateful for the kind treatment I received. I got my dream plant and am ecstatic to share how wonderful the experience has been.”
